Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

Thanks for that mate. It's taken up all my night! I even managed to get a great strike from 'Big' Keith Andrews.

The game's good but the player chat gets boring straight away. "Ok I'll do that. Is there anything else?"

Footy man will always be the best footy game, nothing consumes your time and gets you addicted like football manager.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

I remember playing CM 00/01 all the time beack in the day it was a very addicting game.

I downloaded FM 2009 back in 2008 byut then my PC got broken and lost alot of files, one of them being the game.

I didn't get 2010 because I haeard that you could easily get top players for only 10M and there were other criticisms as well.

Which FM/CM do you guys consider to be the best? A guy I know says that 2007 is still the best one.

Let's see if 2011 is worth getting/downloading.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

^ You got good players for the right price in FM10, there was no ridiculous over pricing like there was in 08 and 09, it was much more realistic last season.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

I was never really able to get top players for little. The best I got was Akinfeev and Ribery on free transfers due to them wanting to leave Moscow & Bayern respectively. So not too sure where that came from.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

Football Manager is life. I alternate between playing as Aston Villa, my first team, and Ipswich, my second I like the sound of most of the updates but I'm not really digging all this new player interaction.

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

Started the FM11 demo, and began a United game. Meanwhile, in real life, Rooney wanted out, so I tried to force him out on my game. Wouldn't leave, despite me slagging him off in private chats. Then, when he decided to stay in real life, I tried to get his morale up on the game. Now he won't talk to me or sign a new contract
