I got to the final last season and was beaten by Real, was a reet bummer. I've got a class team too...

GK - V. Valdes, I. Akinfeev, D. Pashaj
LB - P. Lahm, Dodo
RB - D. Alves, S. Aurrier
CB - G. Pique, M. Sakho, Chygrinski, S. Kjear
RW - L. Messi, Guiliano
LW - F. Ribery, Nani
CM - Xavi, A. Iniesta, Y. Toure, D. De Rossi, D. De Jong, M. Ozil
FW - Z. Ibrahimovic, E. Dzeko, S. Aguerro, D. Villa
Odd team, imo. Could never play with that many back-ups and great players playing second fodder. Guessing 4-4-2 though?

Might as well post my Atletico Madrid team though.

Goalkeeper - Gianluigi Buffon, Sergio Asenjo

Left Back - (beefed P.A) Patrick van Aanholt, Miguel Torres
Centre Back - Giorgio Chiellini, Simon Kjaer
Right Back - Don't have one, usually a good regen fills in.

Attacking Left Midfield (AMC area) - Stevan Jovetic
Centre Midfield (beefed his P.A) - Liam McClair, Michael Essien, Miguel Veloso, Franco Zuculini
Attacking Centre Midfield - Sergio Aguero
Attacking Right Midfield - (beefed P.A) Gokhan Tore, Eduardo Salvio

Lone Striker - Fernando Torres, 3 regens.

Average age of my team is 20, I have a thing for playing youngsters, then re-selling for around x20 of what I paid.

As for accomplishments,
Liga BBVA winner - 1
Liga BBVA runner up - 3 (twice by 2 points)
Champions League winner - 1 (beating Inter, they beat me in the 2nd round the following year.)
Europa Cup - 1 (beating Roma)
Never won the Spanish Cup though, never even got to the semis. First year, lost to a 4th league side with my near full strength team. Embarrassing.

I'm playing a 4-5-1 atm
GK: Akinfeev (Valdes is okay, but he's put in a transfer request)
DR: Alves
DL: Lahm
DCs: Pique & Sakho (kjear is a good back-up and chgrysnki has his moments)
DMs: Yaya & De Jong (De Rossi has been highly average for me)
CM: Iniesta (Xavi is like 33/34 now still decent but not great, Ozil's still young, not really come good yet)
ARW: Messi
ALW: Ribery (Nani's pretty lame truth be told)
FW: Aguerro (Dzeko is great off the bench, villa & ibrahimovic are like 32)

I find the Spanish cup the easiest thing, I usually win it every year on any footy man game as Barca.
I'm in my 5th season now finished 1st, 3rd, 1st, 2nd. 2 champs league runners ups, 3/4 spanish super cups, 1 euro super cup, 2/3 spanish cups.

I have found it's harder to play when my full sqaud is of such high qaulity, I dunno how that works!!

Re: *Official Football Manager Discussion Thread*

What constitutes as grown at club or whatever. As Man City in 2012, I'm struggling to have 4 guys formed at club in my first team. I got Ireland, Hart and Richards, as well as some guy from the reserves in my team. How do you get more of them to be available for that?

Setting up lots of feeder clubs increases the pool of youngsters in your youth team as home grown players. You can also sometimes sign players on pre-contracts which also count as home-grown.

Now on my 3rd season with Barca after a poor second season, finishing second place to Madrid.

Signed Sneider and Van Persie, and Promoted Fontas and Tiago from my reserves.
