Not much activity in this thread anymore. Lets start talking about our new FM09 seasons.

Well, i started one with Manchester City and with the continental qualification i was given 83 million which could rise if i had wanted it to. Anyway, i am in April and sitting second in the league. Not a terrible season but not the best, have done well so far in the Prem but its going to be hard to stay second as i have third and fourth to play away in the last 5 games.

Anyway, FA Cup final i am in but not played yet, lost the Carling Cup final to Arsenal who have already won the league and got put out of the Uefa Cup in the last 32 by Dynamo Kiev sadly.

@ Arsenal winning the league.

I bet like last year's game their players are surprisingly good while Man Utd's are terribly underrated again.

Arsenal's team is rediculously good. Adebayor is a machine again.

Arsenal stormed it on mine too and beat United in the Champions League final. Ronaldo scores free kicks for fun though if that's any consolation.

Carlos Vela is disappointing tbh. Adebayor & Van Persie are unstoppable when they're on it. I've managed to sign Jack Wilkshire on loan for Blackburn in my second season, and i got Alex Song for my first, he was great and has gone straight in to the Arsenal first team now.

My first season went well, getting to the League Cup Final, only to give a two goal lead away at half time to lose on penalties to Liverpool. That sucked!

I've made some awesome signings this summer, Giuseppe Rossi, Steven Defour, Ruben De La Red, Alberto Zapater, Mirel Radoi, Danny Sturride (Free), Filipe Caicedo and Jack Rodwell. I had to sell obviously, but Santa Cruz is shit, as were Pedersen, Reid, Emerton & Samba. Nelsen is too old, and i've got some great replacements in Radoi & Rodwell.

I've been looking out for you Jamie boy! You better be good if i can find ya! EDIT: Got ya Jay!

I just recently started a game with Sheffield Wednesday in The Championship.

I've had one match so far and that was a friendly away to Boston United who are in League Two. I battered them 6-0 and my team played some awesome football.

My next friendly is in a few days against Hibernian. Should be great.

I have a question. I always watch the match in full. Does anyone else do this? It can be a bit time consuming, but it's bloody worth it.

EDIT: Just played another two friendlies. I lost 2-1 at home to Hibs, and then beat Grimsby Town 6-2. Not a bad start to the Pre-Season to be honest.

Well if you put the match speed up to the fastest, you don't watch the match. But if you put the speed slower you can select the 'pitch' option, and can watch the match.

Blackburn were actually very, very good in my season with Man City and so was Santa Cruz.

I don't get you nige ?

And just started a new season with Real Madrid. They get 48m which is good to see.
