Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**

I'm quite happy I did not buy it. Having too much fun with 08. Got some great games going, a Saints game in 2012 and high in the Premiership and an AFC Bournemouth game.

I feared FM may be pretty rubbish this year and judging from what I am hearing, it is.

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**

After blowing my mind trying the activation code at around 9 this morning I realised that the "0" were actually "O's". It's excellent so far and much more enjoyable than previous years, as expected. Shame the 3D game doesn't work on my laptop.

Currently top of the prem with Arsenal at the end of October and even beat Spurs in the Carling Cup with my youth side. Only signings I've made are Arshavin, Senna and also a young goalie from Swansea who is a great number two.

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**

Srna looks like an absolute monster in this.

Marko Marin looks like a real prosepect too. He will be my first signing.

I'm eyeing Pogrebnyak, who looks as good as he should be and Romaric who also looks every bit the tank he is in real life.

Alex Witsel looks a talent.

So now the consensus seems to be, the game is worth getting?

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**

Once it activates, it is great! It's certainly been developed in the relationship you have with the media. Watching the match in 3D is helpful, as are the assistant manager's feedback during the game.

If you're managing a smaller premiership club like me, try and sign Alex Song on a loan and Marco Balotelli from Inter. They are both great players, Balotelli is a machine and Song is very solid at centre back.

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**

I picked up a fantastic bargain yesterday.

I picked up Football Manager 2008 for the PC for only £3.99.

I would get the new one but it won't work on my laptop.
