Bojinov was only good on 05 as well, all the big clubs try to sign him at the start, I don't bother though and just got Cavenaghi instead, although everyone else tries to sign him too
Bojinov is still very good on 08 though, as he just proved in my last couple of games. Just love that guy.

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**

Very good, he was a top ten striker in the game on 05.

I'd probably say the best strikers were, in some sort of rough order...

Cavenaghi
Torres
Adriano
Adu
Ben Arfa
Eto'o
Dagoberto
Bojinov
Vagner Love
Owen

Funny you say that, Cech left Chelsea in my game to Milan because he wanted a new challenge.

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**

Ben Foster I find turns out to be very good when used the right way, or used for a tutor.

Foster never seems to turn out that great tbh, some stats are good, others are piss.

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**

I've been playing Foster for England and he's done terrible, 4 caps with ratings of 5,6,5 and 6.

Lost 2-1 at home to Georgia :/

^

Carson turns out to be England's best bet really, Robinson was shat on with the 8.0.2 patch, and James aint exactly brill either.

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**

To be fair, I still won my World Cup Qualification group and Georgia came 2nd ahead of Portugal. I was level on points but I beat Kazakhstan 5-0 at home to secure qualification. I have been using Carson since the start but it said Foster was the best goalkeeper so I tried him out and he blew. I didn't have Owen for the Georgia match, and he's my best goal scorer. 50 goals in 100 caps although he's on 105 caps now and he hasn't scored in the last five games (albeit two were emergency sub appearances as he was completely unfit).

Re: **Official Football Manager Thread**

Rooney usually owns for England. I always used him, Owen, Defoe and Bent.

Fuck Crouch or Heskey tbh.
