Yeah, but Championship Manager was average. Back then, the Fifa and Pro Evo games were great.

Sine 05 (the last great Fifa), management games are the way too go, and I found myself on 05 all day every day.

19 seasons, ffs.

I've always enjoyed management games over the arcade games. Dunno why. CM 00/01 is a work of art.

03/04 was solid as well. Got to 2012 with Tottenham and I brought Zidane in on a free, he still did nothing and I jobbed him out in the reserved for the majority of the season as it was his last season.

I think all the CM games were good until CM5 came out which was rubbish and then it went downhill from there.

Don't you think that's because it was the first of the new revolution, like it came following CM and was like a brand new game. Although not much changed; their were some great new features and it did feel like a different game, 08 is a very good game; but maybe it's the fact we have had, 05, 06, 07 and now 08 it is seeming a little old and that's why the addictiveness has gone a little. I agree the playtime on 05 was vastly superior, but i do feel that's only because it was such a great game compared to everything...at that time.

Lulinha, in my 3rd season, has awesome stats. Better than Anderson.

Bojan is getting to be a superstar. He's only 18, and has scored 3 hat tricks and came runner up in the world player of the year.

Plz dont tell me you think 05 is better than 06 or 07, the best of the FIFA series ever?

And Richie, no matter what you do, you always take Bojan with you

The best Fifa game was RTWC 98, followed by 2004, 2002 and then 2005.

06 was okay at best, 07 was a letdown and 08 was just plain bad. Part of it may co-incide with my lack of interest for Football games these days, but honestly, everything about 04 owned, hell, even the soundtrack. RTWC had indoor football and penalty shootouts on it which was so much fun on multiplayer.

Ew, 02 was terrible. I did like 03 and 04, but 06 will forever remain my favourite, even if 05 has my favourite ever Man Utd squad on it.

Back to FM09, have the came out with any new features since the video interview a few weeks back?

Anyone have a footie manager 08 update?

Also the best FIFA games imo was RTWC98, FIFA94 and FIFA 2003

(RTWC98 being my fave, I created Swansea City on it HAHA!)
