If I download the game, will the patch remove all the bugs?

You cant get patches for the illegal version, buy the game.

The patch seemed to work on the downloaded version I had while testing the game. I then of course bought the game like everyone else should. The bugs seemed to be fixed after installing the patch to the illegal version.

I've decided not to give in to the temptation until at least after my trial exams in early-mid December. I actually you know, want to get an offer for a decent Uni!

I'll probably get the game for Xmas.

Bought the game yesterday afternoon. I knew I wouldn't have the chance to play it before today, but I started reading the manual to familiarise myself with everything. Imagine my surprise at finding pages 21 through to 36 are missing.

I will be taking it back next week (I work near the shop, but I'm off work this week) to exchange it. Will I be able to play the game without suffering too much in the meantime (the missing sections include scouting and tactics)?

Secondly, if I start a game and then get the whole package, disc included, replaced, will I be able to carry on my saved game as if nothing happened?

You should be able to find your way around pretty easily. Just take 30 minutes or so to familiarize with it if you haven't played FM before. Also go to the official site/forums for help, plus to download the beta patch.

And your save game will be fine.

EDIT: Am I allowed to post links on here, to the official forums and good sites to download graphics from? Just wasn't around for several months earlier in the year so I'm not sure on the rules.
