Re: Football Manager 2008
Okay so i've got the full version now, i think it's so damn hard, im Ajax and no matter what i do i cant score, im getting 75% possesion by the end, but it will be a draw or i will have lost. Huntelaar is the only one looking likely to score, and he never does.

Re: Football Manager 2008
The game's definetely a notch harder than last year. Or, maybe I'm not skilled enough! I won 3 Champions Leagues, 4 League Titles and 3 Spanish Cup titles in 4 seasons with Atletico on FM 07, and I found FM 07 to be quite easy even though it was my first footy manager game.
FM 08 is a tad bit harder. Even though I'm stronger than teams in friendlies I haven't been able to beat them by large margins. But I've had all wins so far, just played my first league match against Bilbao. Villa's been dissapointing and my 25.5M signing Van Der Vaart decided to get injured. Mata's been really good though, but the only standout's been Silva.
Found some good talents; I'll make a list of them in due time.

Should be playing this by six o'clock, can't wait!
The offer for a Online Game still stands if anyone fancies it in a few weeks, even if it's just a few people.

So true. I got mine from 12M to 32M. And, lots for wages left. Plus, not to mention, you can chose what you expect to do...win the league, title challenge or just continental qualification, or even top half finish. The higher your expectation, the more transfer funds, although I'm probably only going to bring in a goalie. I chose the continental qualification one. 32M is pretty sassy for that choice tbh.

Re: Football Manager 2008
I played around a little with AC Milan, York City and England but I'm now in a game with Man Utd which will probably last me a while.

Re: Football Manager 2008
Choose Aston Villa and choose Top Half finish, you can't go wrong. Bring in a few young guys and your team will be amazing in 5 years.

Re: Football Manager 2008
The stats in this game are a little disapointing, you'd think they'd at least be able to be more accurate with decent players.
