Tried this last year and their was no way it would work, everyone was coming on at different times, people would take ages to make take their turn and it all got out of hand. Wouldnt happen.

Well it would mostly be people from the UK and a limit can be put on your turn etc. I've been in a few successful ones in the past so I don't really see why it would be much different.

Doesn't seem much different to the 2007 version tbh. I was really hoping they'd improve the way training works, but I'll still play it. I won't get it until Christmas though. I'll be studying for exams and the FM series is usually too bugged to play until the third patch generally.

I did the same, except I brought in Fran Merida, who first teamed ahead of Carrick. He's brilliant at 17. I sold Saha and Evra. Got Ballotelli too.

Played as Barca as well. Dos Santos is brilliant. And, I signed Menez, who's being touted as the next Zidane irl. Pretty good player on the game, very versatile.

I'll be playing the whole game with Valencia, mainly cause of Villa, Manuel Fernandes and Albiol.

And, a network game with Villareal. Only with one or two people though. Mass games aren't successes a lot unless you've got a really firm person running it.

The game's pretty good. Yeah, not much difference from last year, but improvements none the less. FaceGen technology, a cleaner skin, confidence and a much, much better transfer system. You don't have to pay unbelievable sums for players anymore, and the comp accepts negotiations now as well.

All in all, defo worth the buy if you're a football or management game fan.

Merida's stats are okay, but in 2 years time he'll be awesome. He was already in Arsenal's squad for the first game of the season. I started off with Chelsea - brought in Marcelo the 19 year old left wing back from Real Madrid. I'm still looking for a striker for Drogba to partner but Shevchenko has made an impresive start.

Merida's stats are pretty good for 17. True about him being awesome in 2 years so far, but he's done better than Carrick for me in the demo.

Sheva is pretty good on the game, although he isn't as good irl.

Oh yeah, I also think that the scouting system has been improved a lot. I like how they tell you who the highly recommended, or the better players of the lot they scouted are. It's much more easier to access. Time conserving.

Yeah, the scouting has improved alot. Ronaldo was the only highly recomended player in the prem when I was Chelsea though. Also, Pato who was signed by Milan has only okay-ish stats. I thought they'd be alot higher than what they are. The value of players has improved alot too. Can't wait for the full game =]
