Wasn't sure where to put this but whatever.

I'm thinking of finally giving in and getting a HDTV. Now, I vaguely remember reading something about a problem with the 360 and HDTVs. Do I need to buy a seperate cable or something to get the proper output?

Depends.

If your TV will go up to 1080p, then you might want to consider getting the 360 VGA cable if your 360 doesn't have a HDMI input and your TV has a PC input.

But normally, no. You just need the 360 component cables to get a HD signal. That came with your console if you bought the Pro edition.

Another quick question, should i get Need For Speed Pro Street or The Simpsons on 360, can only afford one cant decide between the two.

Any Guitar Hero 3 owners? I'd really like to to know if the game is good as everyone makes it out to be, and if the Guitar is also worth it. It's pretty damn expensive, so I have my doubts. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, I have it, it does live up to its hype, it depends what sort of gamer you are really.

My little brother plays on it most.

I would rate it : 7/10

It would be worth buying.

It doesn't live up to Guitar Hero 2. The pacing is infuriating. You play through 237 easy songs, and then they throw out 5 impossible-to-master tracks right before the end. It's like watching 9 hours of hobbits and elvs running through the forest, and right before the ring is destroyed, Peter Jackson pops up on screen and tells you to "fuck off, the movie's finished".

Guitar Hero 3 is great, though my friends depresses me when he plays.

94% on One - Metallica expert first try and 77% on first try Through Fire and Flames expert.

I played easy in November, now I do expert Raining Blood and such, still not as good as him but I'm proud.

Anyways, the game is great, I always go back to it and I say it's a great buy, some of my friends are buying a 360 just for this game, Call of Duty 4 and Skate.

It all depends on whether you like racing or platforming more. NFS has multiplayer, so that adds longevity to the game.

Both games have demos on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Try them and see which one you like better.

Thanks, i will go for Need for speed then because at least i can play two player which will stop me and my brother fighting over the Xbox.
