I own the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and the Wii. I own every previous console made too, excluding the Sega Saturn.
And yes, the campaign on Call of Duty 4 wasn't that lengthy. But the multiplayer and Online made up for it, without a doubt.

Yeah, I have #2 on the Wii. Controls, IMO, are excellent for the game. It's now much easier to pull off big moves and special attacks, as you simply hold in a button or 2 and them move the Wii remote in certain directions to do different attacks. Much easier than pressing about 10 buttons on the normal control pad . I remember playing the game for about 2 weeks straight when I first got it, and every day playing it was about 5 hours lol. It's the first DBZ game I have managed to fully complete too

BioShock, Mass Effect or Assassins Creed?
I'm leaning towards Mass Effect, but I want your opinions.

Re: Official Video Game/Platform Purchase Help Thread
Bioshock is great. Great FPS, but it doesn't have a great amount of lasting appeal. You'll probably go through the game twice tops. It's an excellent game though. Both Mass Effect and Assasin's Creed are both also very good so you can't go wrong with either, but I'd go with Bioshock for the sheer beauty and great design.

Re: Official Video Game/Platform Purchase Help Thread
I was going to make a thread for this since it's good info to know. But this is probably just as good, although less people will see it.
I have a few questions about downloadable content for the 360. It seems the way it works is a bit confusing and crap at times.
I tried to find some sort of article that explains how gamertags and downloadable content work, but I couldn't find what I was looking for. These questions relate to all games like Halo 3, Guitar Hero 3, Rock Band etc.
I have one 360 with two gamertags. I'll call them Gamer1 and Gamer2 to make this easier. If Gamer1 pays for the new maps, will Gamer2 have to pay for them as well in order to play online? Seems like crap if this is how it works.
What happens to your downloaded content if the 360 breaks and Microsoft sends you a new replacement?

Xbox.com can help you.

Yes. Almost all of your downloads (excluding arcade games and videos) are tied to your gamertag, so the only way you'll be able to play them with another tag is if the other one is signed in.

You don't send in your hard drive to Mircosoft. When you get another console, you recover your gamertag from Xbox Live and then you'll have access to your stuff. Most of the time you'll need to be signed in to Xbox Live to have full access to some files (ie arcade games are only demos unless you are signed in to Live).
It's pretty crap, but that's Mircosoft's way of fighting piracy and gameshares.

What is your other option for Christmas instead of getting a PSP?
Because basically, right now, you are asking us if you should get a PSP or not. It is definitely worth having, but you need to tell us compared to what.
Otherwise, yes.

Re: Official Video Game/Platform Purchase Help Thread
For the guy who wanted a PSP. No. Dont. Ask for money and buy a console. If you know your getting money for christmas, ask for a portable DVD player so you can buy a console and plug it in for portablity. Dont make the mistake I did.

Re: Official Video Game/Platform Purchase Help Thread
^^^ Thanks Bubba T.
I was trying to find out about downloadable content and how it relates to gamertags and the console. But I can't find what I'm looking for on xbox.com. It seems they don't want to let the customers know how it works exactly because they'll get complains.
Its crap that each gamertag has to buy the content and only the console on which it was downloaded is allowed to play the files without being signed in to Xbox Live.
Surely there must be a way to transfer the permissions from one console to another. And it seems possible that there is a way to link gamertags with the console. So this way MS can tell which gamertags were made on the same console/household. Most likely these people are family members, so not everyone should have to pay for it.
I'm thinking of getting the new Halo 3 maps, but if both me and my brother have to pay for them so we can play on Xbox Live then I might as well wait until they are free.
