But that is actually the first I've heard about the PS3 laser not working, still it probably isn't as bad as the 360 malfunctions. Good that you got a new console so quick.

I work at a video game store owned by my family and i've fixed them dozens of times. The problem with the PS2's is the laser is unstable and gets knocked out of place easily. The laser isn't broken(usually) and can be put back in place. Finding the right place is the tough part. Trial and error is all you can really do. So as long as you don't move your PS2 too much it shouldn't be a problem.

Got a question for you, the cd tray on my ps2 is broke, as in when i press the button it won't come out without me prying the thing out with a knife and when it does come out it goes immeadiatly back in. is there anyway I could fix it myself.

Re: Ask For Tips, Cheats, or Ask A Question
I didnt have R6V1 and I like games like COD and Gears, but Im wondering if its worth getting R6V2, like is it worth the money, or should I just wait and save the money. Is it a good game for a new person to the series. Also do you die after like 1 hit? When is Unreal Tournie on the 360 out also?

I would try loosening the case by unscrewing the 8 or 10(Depends on the model) screws on the bottom. Keep in mind if you by some miracle have a warranty on it it will be voided by doing that. There are also flip top covers (like the old ps1). They are fairly cheap and you won't have to use the disc tray at all.

Re: Ask For Tips, Cheats, or Ask A Question
Hey guys I have a question for you about Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for PS2. I really want to use the cheat code that basically makes you bullet proof. Only falling from heights and explosions, will kill you of course.
But what I want to know is, if inputing any cheats at all will corrupt my save game file. Cause some people have told me that it can get screwed up. I just started the game but have not used cheats yet. Can any of you please guide me in the right direction? Cause if using just that cheat will corrupt my game when I save it. Then I rather stay away from it and play the game fair and square.

Re: Ask For Tips, Cheats, or Ask A Question
It won't mess up anything just entering it a few times. Though if you type in more than 500 cheats it will make the game impossible to beat. It makes a timer on one of the later missions go faster than it should so you can't win.

Re: Ask For Tips, Cheats, or Ask A Question
I’m in the process of trying to figure out how to use an XBOX or XBOX 360 controller to play videogames on the computer. I can’t seem to find any reliable information on the internet about the subject, but I know where the apex of all knowledge is located…: D
That’s why I’m here to ask. I need to know what equipment I need, as I’m relatively sure an adapter will be required, and how I’d go about installing or configuring my PC to handle the controller.
Another quick question…does anybody know if there is a Create-A-Team feature for the PC version of FIFA 2007?

Re: Ask For Tips, Cheats, or Ask A Question
You will only be able to use controllers with wires i'm sure. I looked up your question about Fifa 07 and from what I've read the PSP version is the only one without the "Create-a-Team" feature.
