Your Favorite Movie/Show Tie-in Games?

Bar none - Spiderman 2, Hulk (2003) and Harry Potter III are my favorite movie tie in games for the PlayStation 2.

What are your favourite movie/show tie in games? (and yes I am aware of their tendency to be less than stellar according to fans and critics alike)

Fav wrestlers:

Faces: None

Heels: The New Day, Bo Dallas, Rusev

Chronicles Of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay.

Not a direct movie tie in, but it's based on the universe. This was so well done it blew the pretty crap movie sequel away TBH.

I remember playing that in a marathon on my Xbox. (The original Xbox.)

I was like, hey look, another crappy movie tie-in/movie based game. And that turned out to be one of the best first person action games I've played to date.

Forgotten classic.

Perhaps the whole root of our trouble, the human trouble, is that we will sacrifice all the beauty of our lives, will imprison ourselves in totems, taboos, crosses, blood sacrifices, steeples, mosques, races, armies, flags, nations, in order to deny the fact of death, which is the only fact we have.

Had and still have it on the original Xbox, even bought it again on the 360 too. It's easily one the best games on either generation IMO.

Easily X-Men Origins: Wolverine. One of those rare games that turn out to be much better than the movie. Then for a huge heap of nostalgia; any of the pixar/disney games that came out for PS1, such as Monsters Inc Scare Island, Tarzan, or Hercules.

Here's one that i still find very underrated; The Matrix: Path Of Neo. It was a big improvement IMO over the lackluster original (although i found the code hacking an excellent idea, one that they should have kept on in this sequel).

My friend and I recently played Emperor's New Groove for PS1.

The anger induced cackling started with the Catacombs. Man those Catacombs...

I was waiting for Pacha's heel turn - you know the heel turn type where an ally turns up at an unexpected place and you question why they are there - and they smugly address you before turning on you. Didn't happen but I marked at the potential.

What I am trying to say is - if you haven't played it, do so. You won't regret it.

The Punisher. Not a direct video game version of the movie but it has elements of it in the game.

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift

TV shows:

Simpsons Road Rage and Hit and Run

South Park: Chef's Luv Shack

Rugrats: Search for Reptar

One of the Lord of The Rings games was really good. I think it was The Two Towers. But yeah, Spider-Man 2 was the shit back in the day, I remember getting that for my Birthday and playing it non-stop all week.

South Park: The Stick of Truth is probably the best though, it's essentially another season of the TV show.
