Total War: Warhammer announced

"That's exciting, eh? We already knew Total War: Warhammer was in the works, but it's nice to have official confirmation.
It's the Total War series' first foray into fantasy. Once again, it'll be a combination of turn-based campaign strategy and real-time tactical battles—only this time you can expect magic, monsters and flying beasties. So far, Sega has revealed four factions: the Empire, the Greenskins, the Dwarfs and the Vampire Counts.
Creative Assembly isn't just announcing Total War: Warhammer, but also two additional standalone expansions. They claim it will be a trilogy of games that, combined with extra content packs, will "create the single largest Total War experience ever"."

That sounds fun, if the AI gets improved..

I knew this was coming and I'm so fucking excited for it. It's the first thing that I wanted when I heard that SEGA had bought the rights to it when THQ went under. I adore the Total War series, even if I found Rome II to be underwhelming, their others I still think are fucking awesome. Rome: Total War is still the GOATest!!!

As a fan of both brands, I'm VERY excited.

I hope they don't screw it up.

Rome II is actually pretty good nowadays, albeit I still have some issue with the game. I've also heard good things about Atilla (granted, it's pretty much a glorified expansion of Rome 2, so I wouldn't expect it to have nearly as many issues as Rome 2).

So, I do have some faith in this but of course it'd be a good idea to remain cautious about it.

Also what the fuck OP, how can you not link the trailer?

Come on Wrestlingforum-ites, let's get together and turn this into a movie!
I demand we name it "Total Warhammer", however.

Yeah, thankfully I never had a problem with some of the bugs, or even glitches, that I have seen on the internet. It was more the gameplay ideas that I was a little iffy on. I was basically hoping for ROME 1 gameplay but just more of it. They just had some odd mechanics for the regions in the game where you had to own them all the states to actually have influence in that particular region. Rather than once you get the settlement you control it. Also the way you recruited armies was a little more long-winded. Also the Battle Points confused me a little, never really understood them.

Still, I don't really think I gave it that much of a chance as I was always playing the two ROME games at the time. So was just wanting it to continue in the first games style. Not dealing with it as it's own game.

The Special Edition of it is cool though...

This should be good if there isn't any game breaking glitches at launch. I hope they've learned their lesson with Rome 2.

The last one I could get to run on my PC was Empire Total War. I love these games, though.
