Games that should have been made but never saw the light of day.

what are some games you think should have been made but never were for some reason?

i'll start with Tomorrow Never Dies by RARE studios. Goldeneye was a huge hit and one of the only movie to game tie ins that was actually any good, i never understood why they gave up the rights to the James Bond franchise and allowed EA to publish the sequels. it would've been great if RARE made it a tradition to adapt all of the James Bond moviess after they came out. the success of the Goldeneye game made Tomorrow Never Dies one of the most hyped Bond movies of all time and renewed interest in the Goldeneye movie so it would've been great business to try it again.

The other Call of Cthulhu games made by the Dark Corners of the Earth developers before they went down.

Starcraft: Ghost should have come out. Technically, we don't know if it's cancelled. "Indefinitely postponed" means just that and Blizzard owns the rights to the Starcraft franchise, so they can revive it whenever they want.

Mayhem II for the PS2. I'm a big fan of the first game on the PS1, so a sequel on the PS2 would have been awesome. But of course WCW got bought by Vince and that was the end of that.

Re: Games that should have been made but never saw the light of day.

I distinctly remember seeing an advertisement for a Rodan game in Nintendo Power Magazine, but the game never saw the light of day. Judging by the quality (or lack thereof) of the NES Godzilla games, that is probably for the best, but still, it is fun to think about.

As a Wrestling fan, I would have LOVED an AKI/THQ Wrestling game on the NES that incorporate WWF, WCW, & ECW Rosters. That would have been the greatest wrestling game ever, without question.

I'm still mad about Star Fox 2 for the SNES being binned.
