Re: Hogan lowballed by WWE; Staying with TNA

They would be better off letting TNA die and starting their own wrestling company. The TNA brand is damaged goods and will not grow at this point if they care about company growth anyways.

Re: Hogan lowballed by WWE; Staying with TNA

If it's true then WWE probably offered Hogan what he's worth and Hogan being Hogan decided to go for more money, the only hope TNA have left is that he doesn't get booking power but I'm sure he does so they're screwed

Not necessarily. If Viacom believes they can run TNA better than Dixie and make it more viable than she ever has, they'll pay more than just the value of his contract cause they'll see it as an investment, but again, that's only if Viacom feels like they can work miracles with TNA.

I smell bullshit. The minute TNA aired a video package two weeks ago on Hogan that obviously had serious work put into it, it was clear the shit was a work. You don't have an editor spend hour after hour hyping a man who is off negotiating with the competition.

TNA was advertising Hogan promoting TNA a week after his "quitting" so yeah probably a work.

Unconfirmed doesn't mean untrue. Means whether it is true or false hasn't been proven yet.

TNA is the company that had Nash win on his way out, with him cutting a promo the next Impact as if he was eventually going to return. He put the belt on Jeff Hardy in order to convince him to re-sign. They started an angle teasing the return of MEM only to have Nash and Booker sign with WWE and show up at the Royal Rumble.

Why would wwe save TNA from making a terrible mistake of re-signing Hogan. He's doing yeoman's job of ruining the company.

TNA does not "need" Hulk Hogan, just like they do not "need" guys like Kurt Angle, Sting, Jeff Hardy, or Mr Anderson (I can't believe he's on this list of individuals). But they have them anyways, because they somehow still believe at this point that there's hope they are going to start growing again at the rate that they grew when they first started out to about 2007. But they aren't going to.

I know many have said this, but those guys seriously need to go. After BFG, just get rid of them completely. They are not needed and they are not doing TNA any favors. TNA has completely lost identity of who they are as a pro wrestling company and have taken a direction they never should have taken. As a result, they have actually ended up losing more fans than they gained.

Hogan isn't the only one that needs to go. It's all the talent that they brought in with the soul purpose of attracting fans. I understand trying to continue to become bigger and bigger, but TNA doesn't know how to do it. They never did. They don't seem to realize that the reason they became so big in the first place was because they were an alternative to what WWE was, they provided what the fans wanted. They don't do that anymore.
