India is a very modern country, i dont see how Brooke in a chain would cause problems, at least not more than for example the conservative Americans would have with it.

Re: TNA Wrestling makes history in India!

What's the use of airing it live at such an atrocious time? Might as well watch the repeat telecast. Anyway, it's airing before the go home show.

5:30 am isn't that bad a timing. I've seen plenty of Indians online on Facebook while Raw or a WWE PPV is going on live. Some stream it, some only depend on online reports and others wait to download it through torrents. 5:30 am certainly isn't as bad as the situation in UK where WWE airs live at 1 am. It makes lesser sense to air it live in UK than in India where people can still wake up early in the morning to watch it.

Re: TNA Wrestling makes history in India!

1 am is infinitely better, seeing as staying up late isnt completely insane

but waking up at 5.30 to watch a goddamn wrestling event? I wouldnt even wake up at 5.30 for the finale of breaking bad. the only thing that could get me, or any sane person out of bed at the time is a loaded gun being held to their head

Re: TNA Wrestling makes history in India!

5.30 is an awesome time comparing to 3.00 am in Ukraine, and couple years ago I still managed to watch some ppvs live.

And 5.30 is just an hour before I'm usually waking up for college, so I would definitelly watch it live if I lived in India.

What about those of us with...jobs?

Earlier this year I had a job where I had to wake up at 4.30 AM to catch a 6.00 train into the city to get to work by 8.30

I worked with a girl who was doing this as well and some others were travelling an hour to get to work meaning they'd have to be up at around 6.00 or 6.30.

I don't know how old you are (I'm assuming young) but waking up at 5.30 for a job or to get ready for work or something shouldn't be so foreign to you.

I have plenty of friends who will watch English Premier League matches at 5-6 AM as well not to mention the international friendlies which are 4-6 AM in the morning. I'll be getting up early to watch the Rugby League World Cup this year as well.
