The interesting thing here is that WWE could offer him a contract and put him straight into their main event storyline. Imagine that.

But you still gotta wonder why TNA puts them in situations like these to begin with. He should have signed a new contract months ago.

Maybe they will do a babyface angle where he signs a contract on Live TV. Wouldnt suprise me at all!
You do realize TNA can only offer him a contract and they can't force him to sign. His value increases when he's a Free Agent or at the end of his contract so this going down to the wire might be him leveraging for a better deal or him wanting to leave for the WWE.

I see two options, he either wins at BFG and TNA gives him a year long run with the title and book him really well as the face of the company and hopefully we get great matches with AA and others, Or let him take a shot at the WWE. I'm content at this point to let him try his hand at the WWE, and I'd support him 100%.

I think WWE can offer him a better deal. But I dont think it will be big enough that he will sign.

Outside of WWE, AJ Styles is not a major star. He wont be getting any million dollar contracts thrown at him.

In TNA he is in a save enviroement where he knows he will be in the ME scene or just out of it. In WWE he can just aswell become a jobber.

Money isnt everything.

BUT, with the recent success of CM Punk and Daniel Bryan I do think smaller wrestlers outside of WWE are more comfortable signing with WWE now. More so then they were 6 years ago.

Oh TNA, don't be stupid and let AJ Styles go when he has a really engaging story going on.. I wouldn't actually mind him going to WWE, if they used him right, but I'd obviously prefer he stay in TNA, as he is Mr.TNA!

I'm a Lady BTW!

Is there really EVER a "reliable source"?

Re: AJ Styles not offered a new contract (yet)

I would like to see AJ Styles sign with WWE right since their direction has changed. Man, I would love to see him as a Paul Heyman guy.

He has to do what is best for himself. But he really does deserve at least one big run in the WWE.

WCW fans who can't let go of the past are killing pro-wrestling today. There I said it.

You are just playing silly games.

I am probably arguing with someone who thinks WrestleNewzScoops or some equally ridiclous is as reliable as PWInsider or Wrestling Observer
