If this is true, it would explain the reason he's not having the same TV time and hype he had when he first returned with the new gimmick and would also explain what will happen on this week's Impact.
Yes, this week show really puts forward that idea
AJ knows he has TNA by the balls, like Magnus and others we will do his best to get as much money as possible before resigning.

If he bombs, TNA will be waiting with open arms. If he's successful, he'll become a bigger star and make more money. At 36 it's his last chance to make it big.
Plus there's nothing left for him to do in TNA. Nothing.
If he bombs in WWE, let WWE manage the shit they created. TNA shouldn't take back someone that wasn't loyal to them. There's as much do in TNA as there's in WWE. He's way much closer to a position of power in TNA than in WWE.
I'm pretty sure AJ will stay in TNA, but I would love to see WWE pick him up. AJ is a big fish in TNA, he doesn't have any more room to grow in TNA. He has accomplished all he is going to accomplish. So it would be fresh to see him in a new setting.
Just the fact that such information was thrown out there makes this hilarious enough. I'm not saying that TNA should bend over backwards and give AJ everything he wants but if you aren't willing to make someone who's been vital to your company since day one happy well.....
It's certainly not a good looking thing for PR when you release talent on a weekly basis, don't draw new talent in and have issues making sure the talent you have is taken care of.
"Hirooki Goto could be the face of NJPW, become the first Japanese Wrestler to be WWE Champion
and shove it down on Vince McMahon's throat. Orton goes for the RKO, but Goto counters it and
hits the Ura Shouten and the 3 count. The NJPW locker room celebrates backstage as Hirooki defeats
the Viper and make history."
Lol@Anyone who thinks AJ would succeed in World Entertainment, not that he couldn't but the mcmahons would not allow that to ever happen. If there were actual and legit plans to make him a big star over there I wouldn't mind him jumping ship but I don't see it happening.
"OMGz King what is Stylish Allen Jones doing in the War Zoneeeeeeeeeeee?!"
Like the one they offered one to Joe in 2010...oh wait they never did offer Joe a deal or show any interest. And it isn't like Joe doesn't have friends who work there. Don't be so sure the WWE even has any real interest in signing AJ, they may but it is far from a sure thing that they would want him.
