instead of contract signings you have the pre-match brawl take place at the weigh ins. Boxing and MMA do a great job with this.
Again, I don't believe you understand the purpose of weighins. What you are suggesting is something that TNA has done for a very logn time. They do something because IT WORKED or WORKS for others without understanding WHY IT WORKED. The NWO was one of the biggest angles in pro wrestling history and drew a SHIT TON of money for WCW. TNA has tried to copy the company take over angle pretty much every year without understanding WHY the NWO worked. You are doing the same thing with weighins...its a bad move...as again...wrestling has no weight limits.

I don't think weighins would work. I don't even like when you see contract signings in the ring. why do some major matches need a contract signing in the ring, but other major matches don't?
it works in boxing because that's how they promote the fight. TNA doesn't need that to promote the matches when they have other things they can use.

Weigh-ins are logical way to get the fighters together. Have a press conference talk about what Wrestler A is going to do to Wrestler B. You can pre tape the Weigh-ins and hide a guy who sucks on the mics flaws.

If I ran TNA I'd act like Wrestling was a sport.

Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe

Kurt has the wrestling and stamina advantage
Samoa Joe has the reach, power, and submission advantage plus he outweighs angle by 80 lbs.

the NWO angle worked for two reasons.... The internet was in its infancy. The Wrestlers who jumped ship from the WWF to WCW were Big Names and Hogan turned. A NWO takeover angle would easily work in TNA if TNA signed the right stars. You have Ziggler and CM Punk show up on TNA and have Kurt Angle join them the angle would work.

The Aces and Eights sucked... It was basically the NWO B-Team invades TNA.

Weigh-ins won't work, because in wrestling, you try to convince that any type of wrestler has a chance to beat someone. As soon as you start officially making a big deal of weight, any shred suspended disbelief goes out the window. You don't want to introduce things to help the fan point out how fake wrestling is. That's how we all stop having fun.

You point out the smaller wrestlers strengths

Daniel Bryan - Submissions, Speed
Jeff Hardy - Speed, High Risk/Impact moves
