TNA ruined everything for themselves by picking up WWE midcarders for the last few years and green talent instead of the best indie talent.

They should have hired on the best in 2005 and onward. Allowing them to work in Mexico, Japan, and the Indies without too many restrictions. They could have made themselves a true alternative but they became stale.

Their over use of stables and how inconsistently and poorly they use their talent turned people off to them as an employer.

Clarify the above statement for me. Are you saying that talent doesn't grow on trees so TNA needs to go out and find it?

I'd much rather them sign these two, I doubt Steen has any chance of making it to the E, and I think if they let Ricochet keep his Japan bookings he might come aboard.

Dragongate does on average 12 shows a month. Even if he only works half of them each month, thats going to be a very busy life for him. And dont forget all the plane tickets to fly him in from Japan. Thats only doable if you only use him for the TV tapings and not for houseshows.

Seems exactly like the Nigel McGuiness negotiations. The American Wolves seem to be WWE's to lose.

The Tryout will be either result into a yes or no, I'm sure TNA will sign them soon after if the WWE doesn't like the tryout.

TNA should just look to focus on locking up the Briscoes. They have more potential in the TNA setting than the American Wolves do, in my opinion.

Didn't the Briscoes say, that they would never ever go to TNA?

Well bare in mind, he's always working for some indy when he's in the states anyway so he'd just be working for TNA instead, and I'm sure his flights are payed for by Dragon Gate because he'd go poor flying to/from Japan on his own dime.

Well, it doesn't work that way. The best "indie" talent doesn't necessarily feel the need to leave their respective situation. Besides, the picked up Aries, McGuiness, Kenny King, Sonjay, TJ Perkins, Joey Ryan. So, I'm not sure what more they could have done. Some are content in ROH, PWG and some right now are still under contract waiting to leave.

The Briscoes say a lot of things. With that being said. It wouldn't surprise me if TNA has a better shot at them as opposed the The Wolves because of the whole Darren Young situation. With Young's coming out and WWE using him as a role model for bullying being yourself etc....... it would be really awkward to see WWE sign Jay Briscoe at this point.
