Joe and Angle in MEM? TNA's inconsistent booking

Quick question...since Joe and Angle were part of team TNA, why in hell did Sting invited them to join the new MEM? Wasn't the whole point, to create a new family since Team TNA didn't help Sting on Slammi?

THEREVOLUTION

Re: Joe and Angle in MEM?

I believe Joe and Angle were put in because it saves money on having to bring in new people, and also because of their association with the first MEM. However, if they want this MEM to have any credibility they really need to bring in some new people, if they just use current TNA stars it will be stupid. How long have TNA been fighting Aces 'n' 8s, to little or no avail, it's daft making a team up of members who have been trying to do something and constantly failing. It's also daft that Sting complains about no one having his back, then ask the same people who didn't have his back to have his back. I think I could forgive Joe and Angle being in this incarnation of MEM because I understand why they were put in, provided the other members are someone new.

Re: Joe and Angle in MEM?

The problem wasn't with the people involved in the Team TNA. The issue was that everyone was fighting aces&eights by themselves: Sting, Angle, Joe, Hardy, etc. Sting decided that is time to stop being nice guys and ORGANIZED a group to take out the aces by using similar heel tactics.

Re: Joe and Angle in MEM?

Good points. A more unified, loyal, and ruthless 'team' would be more effective.

Yet People may complain that certain members have already been fighting Aces 'n' 8s with no success. If they're going to only use TNA stars then they would really have to be quite devastating in their tactics to get people to complete ignore their past failures.

Or teaming up with guys you usually don't see fighting in TNA's side, like Roode&Aries or Morgan.

With his character re-vamp, Morgan could be a good fit.

I'd forgotten about that. I just struggle to see Roode or Aries in MEM. I mean Aries, is well, Aries. And Roode is the It Fator/Leader of the selfish generation. I just can't see them fitting in the MEM.
