Yeah it was a great ending. The funny thing is that I can see both Aries and Roode turning face soon with this whole Bully vs Aries feud and Roode possibly (POSSIBLY) joining MEM.

Well let's think about it here sir,

Let's see how much Suicide draws, probably a lot of merch, pops and draws for niche matches and returns every once in a two years or so.

But let's see how much Aries draws? He main events 3-4 ppv's with this gimmick which = thousands more ppv buys, already sells alot of merch probably similar or more to suicide, and is a consistent figure in TNA rather than someone who came as a transitional gimmick for this storyline.

So yeah it was a fantastic move you smark.

TNA doesn't do thousands of buys and i'm sure Aries wouldn't be the draw even if they did, ending a popular gimmick which was helping TJ Perkins out a great deal for a cheap pop when Aries didn't need that to be put over is dumb; yes it was a nice tv moment but the logic is stupid, smark.

That was awesome! Even knowing what was coming, it was a great little story running through the episode and seemed like a big deal during that awesome reveal.

That is all bullshit. If you even look at PPVs from the summer where Aries main evented, they're pretty much the same as they were the year before. And the ratings went lower for a good amount of Aries segments.

Loved it, never saw it coming. Aries reminding me why he's my fave guy in TNA. Looks like he's got his smile back, eh? :-) Originally thought it would have been Aces & Eights that beat up Perkins and posed as Suicide, so they could win the belt and decline the title shot, thus helping protect Bully's reign. That's how I'd have booked it. Which made it weird to me when Bully ended up wanting him unmasked just like Hogan. So big props to whoever booked that. Great crowd reaction in terms of sound, though it was a taped show, so no telling how much of the sound was pumped in, but it came off great on TV. Only wish there'd been more crowd reaction shots (unless they were tired) like when AJ double crossed Aces & Eights. A great crowd can take a segment to the next level.

....Outside of his re-debut, the character hasn't been over in YEARS. Even if that weren't the case, given the predictable and inevitable storyline hole created by the BFG series (without option C, there's no number 1 contender for ~3 months, and if they do name someone #1 contender during the series, it makes the series seem pointless, as someone bypassed the entire process to receive the same reward) it would be well worth it to 'smoke' a fairly generic masked character with no relevant backstory.

Suicide had the potential to be an interesting character, given some sort of motivation, contextual clues to a backstory or other exposition etc... but the character was clearly never booked as a priority by TNA, and instead of being a Mysterio, he's a 'Sin Cara negro'.

≥Suicide

My prediction is Bully retains against Aries due to interference from A&8s, M.E.M. runs out to help Aries and Aries ends up joining them
