Best heel in TNA right now vs. An old guy? Not sure if that will be a major success.

It wont be one for the ages, but from a booking standpoint this makes sense. They are trying to build morgan and they wanna keep him strong. My prediction Sting will be run over clean by bully.

fwiw, if you look at Sting as TNA's 'Taker, then having him main event a PPV to put someone over is fitting.

Like I said before, this is most likely going to be a good match, and this is the one time of the year when Sting actually headlines a PPV.

I also love how the only reason why some people are not looking forward to this match is because of Stings age, and nothing else.

If Sting loses clean then I'm all for it, especially if we get a Brooke turn on Hogan along the way.

If Sting loses by Bully having to cheat in some way, it's still OK but I really think Bully should be winning clean here, how much of a threat is he to TNA if he can't beat Ancient Sting 1 on 1.

If Sting wins, then FML.

If they really want to built Morgan it makes no sense. Whats the sense of being a credible challanger after Slammiversary, when he was cleanly defeated via submission by 50+ year old person, who will fail to take the belt off from Bully?

He was used in a good way in the beginning of TNA's existence - he putted TNA on the map, acutally. But then, lets say, since 2007 he was booked very poorly. He should put over Daniels at Slammiversary 2007, Samoa Joe at Bound For Glory 2008 and many others. I dont think he's a draw nowadays and if someone really want to pay for a ticket/ppv to see Sting, that person still would buy it if he would be advertised on the card.

I like Sting..I like Bully Ray..but honestly..no..no I am not looking forward to this match at all. I would actually have looked forward to Hogan vs Bully more.

Default Why??

Why have tna put Sting in the main event of Slammy?
Firstly i have to say that Sting is actually one of my favourite wrestlers EVER!
But in this case you have to look at it realistically.
Yes Stings a legend, gets BIG pops and Ray beating him would raise Rays credibility.
BUT he IS in his 50s and this storyline has just been aces n 8s vs hogan and the tna 'wrestlers' taking a back seat.
Yes HH is maybe the biggest name of wrestling and i can see the Hogan father in law vs Bully but he should stand back abit and have guys like storm, EY more involved too.

I think TNA should of got back the KING OF THE MOUNTAIN match.
Have hogan stack the deck against Bully Ray.
Sting wants revenge
Moragn wants his shot
Hardy could make a return? Or have Storm involved!

make it Hardy/Storm vs Sting vs Morgan vs Ray! a 4 way KOTM match
At the end Ray beats them all!

If you want Sting vs Ray have it on a special impact or something that i would like, a clash of the champions style show, instead of a big ppv
