Petey & Sonjay seem to be infrequent workers so they could be sticking around for longer than we think. I wouldn't be opposed to a David vs Goliath type tag match. Petey & Dutt aren't phenomenal talents in that way normally, granted I have faith in the heels to drag out a good story if the match got to happen. One would hope.
Park as TV champ is my pipe dream. I made the claim that TNA could seriously beef up Devon's role as champ in a way of "TNA can strike back by dethroning Devon as champ". It can be treated as a big moment for whomever they choose to win the championship from him. Hoping it works out that way. It will only be a positive for all parties involved & the championship to have life.
Well to be fair, they didn't book him for a while and Kenny leaving really put a damper on his career in ROH. I feel like he's a part of SCUM just to be a guy they throw in the multi-man matches now. I get what you mean in terms of longshots but I'd really like to see Rhett and Kenny as a team in TNA, they were overshadowed in ROH.
Petey and Sonjay did do decent David vs Goliath matches in singles before and they put on a good match against Bad Influence so it would be good. Have TNA used D.O.C. and Knux together in a 2 on 2 yet? I really liked D.O.C.'s work in Japan for the short time he was there. Either way, it could put them over as mega heels with a strong victory. In terms of a throw together team, EY and Park could be used maybe to finally end the reign? That would be believable and interesting at the same time.
Park, EY, Sabin, or Magnus are my picks to take the belt from Devon. All of them would benefit from it, moreso Sabin and Magnus though since they're younger and are marketable as stars for the company.
