Sting and AJ must be two of the most protected men in wrestling. Three different refs, two ref bumps, fighting off 9vs2 odds and Styles succumbing only after 6 finishers. Hilarious.

That was the most hilarious main event I've seen in a long time. Granted it did nothing to make me see a Magnus title run but I can't say I didn't have a smile on my face after it was over.

Going to watch the last ONO tonight or tomorrow and hopefully the tag team tournament can do better than every other show they've had.

Ok, so I've been away from the show for a long time. Any reason to start watching again? Losing AJ is a big negative for me but if the product is any good right now I may consider checking it out again...anybody out there that will recommend the show?

Depend of why you stoped. The show is definitely different since BFG, the pase is different, the focus on wrestlers is different and TNA is trying to reboot the company. In my opinion TNA is going back to where they stopped in 2009 (they even returned with Feast or Fired match and bring back Shark Boy and Curry Man for one week), but with a weak X division, tag team and KO division for now (but TNA is searching new talents and some may debut next week according to Dixie's twitter).
I recomend to you watch the last week show (when AJ returned, not when he fight against Magnus) because it was pretty much what Impact is now in a good way.

I just think they're that stupid to book nonsense thinking it makes them "look good", actually.

TNA - One Night Only: Tag Team Tournament

Petey Williams & Sonjay Dutt vs. Generation Me (Max & Jeremy Buck) - ***

Garett Bischoff & Wes Briscoe vs. The Hot Shots (Chase Stevens & Riley Cassidy) - DUD

Austin Aries & Robert Roode vs. The British Invasion (Rob Terry & Doug Williams) - **3/4

Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels & Kazarian) vs. Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez - ***

Garett Bischoff & Wes Briscoe vs. Samoa Joe & Magnus - *1/2

Team 3D (Bully Ray & Devon) vs. Generation Me - **1/2

Austin Aries & Robert Roode vs. Samoa Joe & Magnus - ***1/4

Team 3D vs. Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez - **

Austin Aries & Robert Roode vs. Team 3D - ***

It's not even close to high praise but this might be the best of Series One of the One Night Only shows. Outside of maybe the worst match of the series besides Snow/Ryan vs. Terry/Morgan and Garett & Wes dragging down Joe & Magnus the matches generally were passable to good. Tenay & Tazz still didn't give a shit about the show and hopefully if they do more of these then they put them on timely so we don't have to see ridiculous out of place things like Aces & Eights all over this show.

30% of that show bored the living fuck out of me. The commentary + That crowd + Mediocre wrestling = Me passing out.

All I can remember is Aries/Roode vs Terry/Williams being extremely entertaining. Aries and Roode are amazing. Woke THE crowd up and made a complete piece of garbage wrestler aka Terry look like million $. High class workers.

I don't know how you liked Velvet/Tapa that much but other then that I agree with the ratings for the show (Aries/Sabin was fine) and maybe it's past time for TNA to retire Lethal Lockdown for a couple of years so when they bring it back it feels fresh because it was like pulling teeth the entire match.
