Sabin would get his rematch by virtue of not being pinned in the most recent three way match. The man who took the pin will be kicked to the curb for whoever is next in line/won another three way to gain entry into the championship match. I know, it's so baffling for such a dumb concept.
Well with the Destination X special coming up in a couple of weeks there has to be a rematch if for no other reason then to fill time because even if they could get away with saying Aries could keep the title he won by the means he won it how would they explain Sabin not getting a rematch? You also have to wonder what happens if Bull retains against whoever, because then it'll be like nothing happened with Aries still in the BFG Series (unless Sabin's rematch includes that slot if the winner loses vs. Bully) and Sabin still in the X-Division title hunt.
Oh yeah the three way thing is garbage. None of the matches have even been good so idk what the hell they were thinking. It sucks feud wise too, Slammiversary probably would've been a lot better if it was just King vs Sabin since that's what their focus was.
Gonna watch impact later on and see how the finish comes across seeing as I don't dig the idea of it.
i posted my thoughts on it in the spoiler thread but ill throw it in here too
Spoiler for next two weeks:
im actually really happy they went this way. it's a bit hot potato but it does more for sabin than a win over kenny king and it's fun he beat the last guy who actually cashed in the title and WON. if they let sabin/bully go at it with no shenanigans i think it could be very good, with sabin just coming up short. hopefully the match is less of a clusterfuck than other bully title matches
i think it was to get a reaction by having aries win and people questioning it, and also because it makes sabin seem more believable going into it
impact was fun this week. matches were fine, dont really remember the joe one i wasn't really paying attention but i enjoyed the show for the most part. MAGNUS
Spoiler for STUFF:
Again, solid point. Can't help but think it is so arbitrary at the end of the day. It probably feels sort of dumb thanks to the three way gimmick. If it would have been Aries vs Sabin straight up both times, then yeah, I can see that working out a touch better.
Impact was good stuff this week. I'm left caring and guessing who is who, so there is interest from me. ROODE but MAGNUS. & JOE.
