I went on the website and I can still by a single floor ticket. At least they have cut off a few sections for behind the stage

I don't care why you're upset. 2500 is still a decent number for them and I don't understand why anyone would think otherwise. In some cities you just won't get a huge attendance no matter how great the card looks or how good the story development was the last few weeks.

Just because they drew good numbers in the UK and in the last two or three venues in the US, doesn't mean that from now on, they're gonna draw 5000+ everywhere.
Because:

1. TNA has been doing a much better job of promoting these shows than in the past. Press conferences with mayors or city councilmen, billboards within the city, radio and TV advertisements, local interviews, deals with local food chains etc. They have spent a lot more money, time and effort into promoting these shows than ever before.

2. They have built up the Corpus Christi show as a big show. One would think they deserve a better crowd for that.

Well, I guess Corpus Christi is a shitty place pro-wrestling wise then. 2500 fans is still far from a tragedy though. A few weeks ago I read about some Smackdown tapings with the attendance of 2000 people and only 800 of them were paying fans. Now that would be tragedy. My point is - storylines may be good, matches may be good, hell, the whole product may be good. But the roster power is pretty much the same it was a year ago and the same goes for TV ratings. So why should the attendance be let's say 5000, when a year ago they were happy when they had 4000 fans in attendance at a PPV? Just because it was two weeks ago in Chicago? I just can't see the logic.

Not everybody is a wrestling fan, get over it already. It's a build in process, like I said before 2.5k is still a good number for a brand that everybody used to completely shit on.

Give TNA management some time to sought out a definite no. of fans that will come and watch these live shows, then they can build strategies related to buildups, matches that will be on the card, storyline progression etc., right now they are playing hit and miss.....

ex: Even though Lockdown was such a success, they have gone for a smaller arena (compared to Lockdown) for Slammiversary and had a record weekend sale for that event, probably TNA could have broken the Lockdown attendance record at Slammiversary....

I'm guessing they wanted to use an arena in Cleveland for this show but Vince locked em out.

It will look fine on TV, they'll move the people that bought upper deck tickets to the lower deck and tarp off the upper deck. Not to mention they will have alot of fans that buy tickets day of show at the venue (thus those fans get to avoid ticketmaster fees). I'm sure it will look fine and the attendance will a fair amount higher than the current numbers on Thursday (not a shitload higher, but a fair amount higher than current numbers).

With that awesome Main-Event and only 2500? That's a shame. It's going to be awesome for sure.

WWE fans complain about the product but don't come and watch the superior product, instead crap their pants because Cena made a heel joke. It's sad.

I watch both and I get way more pleasure from TNA by a mile. Bar the Ziggler cash in, that was phenomenal.
