You guys are overracting. They will sell 3,000-3,500 tickes which is perfectly fine. TNA won't became popular in a minute, it'll take time.

Nevertheless, it's still a positive. When Nitro first hit the road, their attendance was pretty shit oftentimes. This kind of thing was anticipated and is more than likely a bump on the road. TNA should work their cameras better though. Their director too often exposes the limitations of the arena and attendance. They need tighter angles and lenses. I.e. a good director will make sure that you rarely if not never see two walls of a small arena in one shot. Do everything possible to put the size out of mind. Accentuate the positives...
Corpus Christie's venue is probably in the 550k range at best.

700k is not for the venue it's for all the production of a live show on the road (venue, transportation etc)

Yeah I'd like to know what it cost to run a live show weekly at the Imoaxt Zone. Double that, subtract it from 650k and see if its worth the difference.

I asked richard gray from some other site how many tickets were sold so far, he told me around 1,800 have been sold so far. Take it for what you will.

The Impact Zone was not free. TNA had a lease with Universal, so they had to pay rent every month to be able to keep their equipment in the studio.

If it was for a regular episode, I maybe wouldn't complain and moan. But:

1. TNA has built this show as a huge deal with PPV like matches. Not only would they deserve better when getting their shit together, but some non regular viewers might as well being turned off by an empty arena with a silent "crowd".

2. They should have never scheduled a show in friggin Corpus Christi. Yes, regular WWE and TNA crowds are very different, but Corpus had been downright awful in the past: silent for almost everyone other than Cena, very mark'ish, just families with their kids.

3. There was a PPV called Lockdown a month ago in Texas... TNA drew a good crowd there, but what's the point of returning to the same state so fast? Why not New York/New Jersey? Why not Michigan? They also drew well for live events in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland and stuff.

I don't understand why 2500 fans is considered a failure all of a sudden. Not that long ago they were happy for 4000 fans at the big PPVs like BfG. Why would anyone expect these numbers to drastically change overnight? Just because they drew good numbers in the UK and in the last two or three venues in the US, doesn't mean that from now on, they're gonna draw 5000+ everywhere.
