I'm sure it'll come across fine on TV. They just gotta keep putting out a good product, my favorite wrestling company in America.

They chose the worst place you could have a televised wrestling program at. Corpus Christi is notorious for its terrible crowd, even the dead crowd at WrestleMania 29 would be better than Corpus.

Still not a valid point, why TNA is going to be more succesful. When people are pissed off by the WWE, they just stop watching wrestling. Sad but true.

Pretty much, it seems like most WWE fans aren't wrestling fans. I like wrestling so a wrestling company is just one promotion out of the pile, it'd be nice if more had that perspective.

Safe to say that TNA won't be returning to Corpus Christi in a long, long time.

2.5k is still a positive number, nothing impressive considering the amount of people the venue can hold but still at least they are drawing fans in thousands and not hundreds. The on the road thing will take time but I feel eventually, TNA will be able to draw good/great crowds in the smaller venues they are doing. It's all about brand development just now.

I realize Corpus Christi is a good bit from San Antonio but I would've liked to see them hit other areas before returning to Texas where they just had Lockdown a month ago. If what you guys are saying that Corpus Christi has a bad reputation wrestling wise that makes the decision to go there look even worse by TNA management.

Going on the road they are going to have bumps now we'll see if they can make them through and become a stronger company for it.

TBF even if it comes in low at 2500 thats 2500 PAYING fans for 2 shows that they would have made zero money off tickets on in the impact zone. Theres still 3 days and the good news is all the expensive seats are the ones being taken up 1st.

One the ticketmaster site it appears balcony seats are now on 2 for 1 offer which might attract a few more late comers. Main thing for TNA in this initial period of tapings is just getting as many people in as possible without giving away too many free tickets. Free tickets will annoy paying fans thats why people gave up with WCW because so many fans paid then WCW let loads in for free so people just gave up paying.

But they would also would've had to have spent zero money as well. $700,000 per venue now.

Nevertheless, it's still a positive. When Nitro first hit the road, their attendance was pretty shit oftentimes. This kind of thing was anticipated and is more than likely a bump on the road. TNA should work their cameras better though. Their director too often exposes the limitations of the arena and attendance. They need tighter angles and lenses. I.e. a good director will make sure that you rarely if not never see two walls of a small arena in one shot. Do everything possible to put the size out of mind. Accentuate the positives...
