Watched this yesterday and it was a nice change for the regular TNA schedule. I like this format of matches that you won't see elsewhere in TNA.

Opener wasn't that good, i don't know what really went wrong with it, but i just didn't feel it.
But then we get the Old school vs. the New school: Absolutely freaking fantastic tag team match! Just sign Nese and Cameron already! Tag team division needs guys like these! I enjoyed both men so much. Old school guys were great too, but these new school guys stole the show and the crowd loved them too.

Chavo Vs. Robbie E? Load of crap in my book. Not much to say about it, a filler.

Ultimate X match was an ok bout, but that's about it. I think it's a bit pointless to have this kind of gimmick match if you don't have something special on the line for it. And that is exactly where it failed, it was just a bunch of fast wrestlers jumping around and trying to catch that pointless X. Even though i bitch about it, i didn't hate it.

Bad reputation Vs. Canadian Destroyer and Sonjay Dutt was another good battle in this PPV, you just can't go wrong with these guys. Very good, technical and fast paced wrestling, AND we got that DESTROYAHHHH too. one of my favorite matches of this event.

RVD Vs. Jerry Lynn was a nice old school brawl. I was a bit worried that they would end it too soon, but we got a nice match with good moves and you could see that these guys have worked before, even though RVD is far from his prime days, i think Lynn's presence and the fact that it was his last match made RVD really bring his A game to this.

Main Event was good. Austin Aries just rules. IMO Joe was a bit sloppy (or is it just me?) but it didn't even ruin this. Their styles work together nicely and both men are able to wrestle a great match anywhere anytime

Even though these "specials" will provide some fun little matches, what's the actual point? They are separate entities which means no storylines will come out of it and no stars will be made considering it won't be seen much anyway. I just don't get it.

I've been watching this event sporadically.

The Old School vs. New School match was awesome. I think both teams would be excellent additions to the tag team division. Kash and Williams would be a badass team to see regularly on tv and I'd rather see a babyface team of Nese and Cameron instead of Hernandez and Chavo.

I skipped the Chavo & Robbie match. Just wasn't interested.

The Ultimate X match was alright. It was sort of like watching the future of the division. Rubix and Andrews are talented and would be good additions, especially considering that X matches are now all three ways? They should probably pack in as many X wrestlers as possible.

I was about to say pretty much the same thing in my last post. Even though i enjoyed this PPV, will this format really work later on?

This was a pretty cool little ppv. $15 isnt much and it appealed to the core TNA fanbase which would be wrestling fans. This isnt meant to be a big money maker for TNA and I bet it cost very little to produce.

I would say though the X division guys they have now dont come close to the originals but who can really ? All in all a nice reboot, seems like theyre trying to put some emphesis back on the x division which is nice. Rome wasnt built in a day.

The old school vs new school tag match was dope as hell though. Not a spot fest but good solid wrestling action.

Im actually liking Kenny King as hes not totally mind blowing as an X division performer but he has some nice moves and is a heel so hes supposed to cheat and get lucky to win.

The opening match kinda stunk though.

I really enjoyed this PPV, honestly maybe evan more than Wrestlemania. I especially liked the tag match with Petey Williams & Sonjay, that was just straight up fun. Its cool that it gives some of the lesser known/featured guys a chance to showcase their talents.

It's just me or this show was barely promoted? It didn't had any build up and was hanging only on the quality of the matches. I don't see this model surviving without some promotion and build-up.

But the PPV itself was pretty solid. The crowd was dead and almost ruined the matches. Joe and Aries was awesome as it always is and I like Ultimate X, even if it lacked star power. I want to see it at Slammiversiry with a better crowd and the most known faces of the X-Division. It would be awesome.

The cage match was confunsing as hell, I didn't really get the rules and they seemed to get in and out of the ring at will. I didn't like it.

I skiped Guerrerro and Robbie E's match, not even Parks can make me see a match with those two.

Jerry Lynn and RVD was a good match but lacked blood, it's not an ECW match without some of it. And this Lynn retirement tour has been going for how long? Seems like he is doing this for a long time now. It was a good old man's match.

Why did the Old School team went over? Give room to some new blood. When the new school guys were this good they should have gone over. My only grip with this match.

Bad Influence is always great, I could watch this guys all day. The match was great, Sonjay Dust might not have mic skills (the interview wasn't very good) but damn he is impresive in the ring. And I discovered that Petey Williams is as tall as me so now I have a new small wrestler too look up to lol

Just to finish this up: How annoying were Tazz and Tenay? I was almost muting the sound, they need to tone it down. It was awful. Always bickering at each other like two annoying brats. If they continue to act like this it's going to be hard to enjoy the product. Enough is enough Tazz.
