Did You Enjoy Kaz Before He Teamed Up With Daniels?

Overall i liked him as a performer and he was decent on the mic at times but i think he has highly improved since then.

He was always great in the ring, but could never hold his own on the mic. I feel like he turned the corner in terms of working the mic back when Fortune was formed.

Of course he has improved. Being with Daniels will bring you out of yourself. Yeah i liked him before but i dont think he knew his thing. Maybe being cocky funny was always his thing ? We will have to see when he is a singles guy again.

I enjoyed his matches, sure... but did I find myself wondering "man, when is Kaz going to show up tonight?" - No, not really. I happily say that I look forward to when he and Daniels appear nowadays.

As one of the few Suicide gimmick fans, I can say that I have thoroughly enjoyed all his pre WTTCOTW stuff.

Re: Did You Enjoy Kaz Before He Teamed Up With Daniels?

I marked for his matches and he did show moments of charisma, but with TNA's roster at the time, nothing differentiated him from the pack. This Kazarian has been goldust. Working with Daniels has done wonders for his career. So when they inevitably break-up, I feel he will be better placed to make himself a permanent fixture of the main-event scene.

It's an amazing turnaround for a wrestler that almost got granted his release. You've got to give him hell lot of credit for forcing himself back into the minds of management.

Mayorga on BJ: Real men fight- maricons roll on ground and wrestle. Boxeo is número UNO! Tell BJ to box me- after I KO him, I will put him not in a body bag but in a condom so he can think that’s where he shud have stayed

Mayorga on facing Vargas: I'm going to give Vargas the chance to cash his last paycheck. I would like to say publicly that Fatty Vargas has always feared me. I conceded to take this fight at 162 pounds because fatty couldn't lose any more weight. I will do Vargas a favor by retiring him in this fight so his family doesn't have to suffer every time he steps in the ring. I'm going to do his wife a favor and not let her cry anymore.

Re: Did You Enjoy Kaz Before He Teamed Up With Daniels?

It is funny. I remember when I first started watching TNA in 2004 and people on the net RAVED about how great Michael Shane was.

All the buzz was around this guy. "He's like a young Shawn Michaels! He's amazing!". I watched him and thought "I'd say he's more of a poor man's Shawn Michaels". Never saw what the big deal was with him, but at the time, he was teaming with Kazarian and I thought "Now this Kazarian guy! He's much better!".

In the ring, Kaz was always great. He lacked a bit on the mic, sure, but as an athlete, there was always a place for him on the show.

Re: Did You Enjoy Kaz Before He Teamed Up With Daniels?

^he wasn't even a "poor man's" Shawn Michaels. He was and has always been trash.

Anyways on topic: yep, always enjoyed Kazarian. He's good in the ring and always entertained me enough on the stick. It's too bad he's more or less a glorified jobber these days, but at least he's managed to have a lot more followers than possibly ever before. So, good for him.

Re: Did You Enjoy Kaz Before He Teamed Up With Daniels?

Had some charisma and has always been awesome in ring. But his problem was the fact that he lost EVERY major match he had in 2008. That sort of weakened my desire to see him. Suicide was great, but went nowhere. I'd mark for a Suicide cameo.
