We've seen them push the panic button to put the belt on Hardy, neutering the Storm-Roode storyline in the process (and then do virtually nothing with Hardy anyway). Barely anything outside the A's & 8's plotline gets anything more than token attention devoted to it. And A's & 8's plotline drug on for way too long before actually getting anywhere (nevermind the group is a complete joke without Bully). And if the booking isn't there...
3. TNA cannot build stars to save their lives. So we now have Bully Ray as the heel champ. Just who is going to step up and face him? TNA really has no one built up to be a credible challenger for the belt. With an seemingly aging roster, this isn't good at all.
4. TNA needs to stop playing by WWE's rules and be TNA. Why would I want to watch "the WWE" when I already can watch the WWE? If the company were to get shutdown in the next month, what would its legacy be? In the end, this is the real reason TNA has trouble converting WWE watchers to its brand. Not marketing, not anything else. TNA needs an identity of its own, period.
I think your a bit off on some aspects. The reason why i like this brand more is because i find the character development extremely different. That sets this company different from wwe alone. This brand the characters have much more depth freedom and they dont seem silly soft. Its more edgy in that aspect and they have a lot of creative control over themselves comepared to the other company.
Id say they have a few guys that are very good to build up.
marketing is so big weather people believe it or not. Markeing works period. Look at anything that is shoved down peoples throats from marketing. They are number 1 for that reason regardless of how shitty it really is. wwe is a marketing machine and they do it well to the kids. We are in a generation of followers. People like to be part of the same thing and stick to that.
Most importantly time. People in the world are clueless. If i mention my brand to all of my friends and non of them like wrestling anymore. They still just switch it back to wwf. Impact wrestling just needs to slowly develope into a massive brand. When people talk about wrestling mania most of them are not even wrestling fans.
Why do you think the superbowl has millions and millions of people watching it that do not wath football at all. Its just marketed to a big idea.
Sorry about my wrap grammar
