How is Hernandez considered bad?
When I watch him in the ring I am amazed at how a guy that size can move the way he does, so I don't understand even by internet standards how Hernandez is a bad wrestler because he can clearly go in the ring, so he doesn wrestle like a Kurt Angle, Finlay, Chris Benoit or William Regal like but must EVERY wrestler wrestle technically? If everyone wrestled the technical style wouldn't it be boring? Why does the internet hate powerhouses so much I don't get that? So because Hernandez isn't technically sound like say Christopher Daniels he's bad? Hernandez's style is to lay guys out with power moves and he executes that nicely so that should label him as a good powerhouse considering that's his style of wrestling.
He doesn't have a defining character? Okay so does 75% of the roster and no one bags on them. Kenny King? What's his character? What is Samoa Joe's character exactly? Magnus? What's his? Velvet Sky? What's hers? Those guys are great in ring workers but what are there characters its okay for them to get free passes though?
I won't argue his mic skills because they are pretty non-existent but guys like Jeff Hardy, Chris Benoit, and Rey Mysterio were never exceptional on the mic and they get free passes for not having mic skills. It feels like mic skills are the basis in determining if a wrestler is considered good or bad but why no gray areas? Why can't Hernandez be considered decent? There are more attributes to wrestling than mic skills. Hernandez has a good look, and is a pretty decent powerhouse why not look at those areas and only focus on mic skills??
