Has Sting Upgraded his Legacy with TNA? Or do you give his legacy the same rating you would've gave it in 01.

He was very successful in WCW, but he didn't have as many notable runs with the strap as some may think. He only dominated the NWA/WCW strap in a couple of runs and then he had a few small runs with it. His best days there were in the late 80s and early 90s. After that he wasn't that big of a deal outside of 96/97 when managed be a major superstar without even wrestling or even talking, which was phenomenal. But I think the 2 big runs with the strap that he's gotten in TNA so far has raised his legacy and made up for some of the filler time or underachieving that ocured during the second half of his wcw career. I also think his role as insane sting has added another noteworthy phase to his career.

So yea, I think his work in TNA has given his career a notable upgrade and when I look at ALL the legends of wrestling dating back to 50s, I can finally say that Sting is top 20 all time with a serious face and it's really bcuz of burn he's been gettin in TNA. Had he gone to WWE, I don't think he would've gotten anywhere this type of burn.

Yes, he didn't have to do come back, but he did and he was a big enabler for TNA to become what it has today.

Has he added to his legacy as a professional wrestler? No, the reason he has a legacy was because of his time in WCW and many people that frequently watch TNA were really young to remember that clearly, so I wouldn't say he took away from his legacy either. I'd like to add that on his resume, he started the trend of big names going to TNA and making it grow to what it is today.

I wouldn't say it has upgraded it, but with joker sting etc, it has shown new dimensions to the character which have been welcomed.

Without TNA sting would now be a distant memory. I doubt he would of gone to the WWE. In TNA he is still VERY relevant. You can say the same for Hogan.
