Homicide & Konnan
When LAX set out for singles careers in 09, if Homicide still had Konnan as a manager could he have been a main-eventer?

I highly doubt it.

TNA could've built him up as the Latino babyface that came from nothing trying to succeed in America, from his parents immigrating, to him surviving on the streets in Brooklyn. Let him give his bandannas to kids in the audience.

Re: Homicide & Konnan
Better chance for Hernandez to have become one as a heel I think.

Re: Homicide & Konnan
Maybe not a main-eventer, but upper card for sure. Konnan did a great job getting those guys over.

Re: Homicide & Konnan
I don't think he would have become a main eventer because TNA at the time had problems making star (some would argue they still do). He could have been a fun and maybe slightly important part of the show, though. Who knows.

James Storm Bobby Rude AA and Bully Ray all move to the main event in the same year and none of them felt rushed or like they did not belong there. Also noway Homicide would be a main eventer, TNA had better small guys in the ring and on the mic then him in 2009.

Those were all in the year 2012, not 2009. And in 2009, there wasn't that many good small guys, excluding Daniels & AJ.

Re: Homicide & Konnan
LAX broke up at the weirdest time. Hernandez was getting the main event push and Homicide was essentially doing jack-shit Next thing you know they started feuding despite that fued NEVER needing to happen. It felt so forced and felt like the writers just said 'well this is what happens when team break up anyways! So let's just do it!". LAX should have done their single's run and then a year or two later get back together. It was still an act that had heat behind it and the fans loved those two together. It was still good, but a break was needed. TNA fucked up the aftermath.
Homicide could have worked as a maineventer. He could talk, work, and got the crowd into all of his stuff. The guy was a good talent and if he comes back to TNA in 2013, I would not complain at all.

Re: Homicide & Konnan
They wouldn't even give the strap to Daniels. I highly doubt they'd ever give it to Homicide, even with a mouthpiece and a bodyguard.
