Should TNA get a new music composer?

I know this isn't very probable since Dale's been there since the very beginning for TNA, but most of his themes just flat out suck. Not worth listening to at all. It's no surprise either, this guy has a background in country music. How well does country music and wrestling go together (unless it's a guy like James Storm that we're talking about)? Even Harry Slash produced some memorable themes for ECW. Wrestling themes are an important part of the product. Some themes even get wrestlers more over than their talents deserve them to. The production quality of Dale's themes is crap too. He has had a few decent themes, but he's also been doing this so long and yet it still isn't anything worth writing home about. It's probably not in their "to-do lists" right now or any time soon, but do you think TNA should get a new music composer?

By "suck" I mean the kind of tunes that I wouldn't download and like to listen to on a regular basis, which is most of them really. I had Kurt Angle's TNA theme downloaded for example, and I put it in the same folder as the WWE themes. But I probably listened to it once or twice maybe, because it got annoying. Kurt Angle's WWE theme on the other hand was inspiring and worth a listen.

I don't get the big deal about TNA themes being shitty. In the Asylum days... definitely... but now? Most of them are fine.

I agree there are themes really generic like Chavo, Magnus (i like the british invasion start but after...) but the others are nice even those without lyrics or very simple like Robbie E or Roode.

Even Roode's theme feels pretty generic to me. It just doesn't feel like the theme of a main event star, one that is easily distinguishable or one that gets the crowd to pop as soon as it hits. It's very... meh.

agree with you TNAmarkfromIndia, most of them do suck, most of peoples songs are just beats with no lyrics repeated over and over again, the only ones i like are AJ styles, James Storm and kurt Angle, but theme music isn't really a big issue in Wrestling. If you have a bad one it really doesn't matter.

Maybe not, but if TNA is serious about setting the standard as a major professional wrestling/sports entertainment company, they'll have to take a serious look at all aspects of their production, which includes their music.
