I think the old ones are terrible but i think the new ones are actuely the best in wrestling. I dont want to hear main stream music. Its more unque when a wrestler has a song made just for them.I feel they are getting really good and fitted well to the wrestlers.
Not in order but good songs.
Robert Roode Open Fight Night - Jeff hardy helped produce it with the music producer . Oliver ? whatever the name is.
Jeff hardy theme
AJ first song was acutely the best
Daniels new theme really fits his character right now
Aces fits the theme of the group
These are just a few of the good ones. If you see a patter with good themes. Its people that have long term contracts or have been around all ready for a while. Why invest in making a great theme. When you dont know if they will be around. All of the newer guys at least a handful will be gone at some point.
lolwut. Hardy's horrendous "singing" over the top of some generic soft rock sounds worse than a cat being raped.
TNA's themes leave a lot to be desired, when I first started watching back in September one of the first things I noticed was the sub par entrance themes. There are good ones but overall there's plenty of wrestlers who could use something new. I don't know how much licensing music is but I would imagine the WWE has a much easier time doing so because they have so much more money and the fact that Jim Johnston & company are great when it comes to making a theme for someone.
Kenny King's is one of my current favorites, it reminds me of some Japanese anime theme.
Angle's, Magnus' new theme (but the opening is a Trytan rip off), Gail Kim, Madison Rayne, Jeff's last two (hate his current one), Kenny King, Roode, Storm, Park
Aries (cool sound but bland as shit) Chavo's, Bully's (rip off of Sabu), Ion (so fucking bland), Hardy's current, Joe, Aces and Eights, both Hogans, Sting's, Anderson's, Morgan's, AJ's current theme
LAX's 2nd theme is the best wrestling theme I have ever heard, AJ's second theme and all the other "I Am"'s that aren't Ready to Fly are great, but I think the biggest issues are that none of them really sound too memorable. I hate generic rock themes like Aries theme just because everything about it screams bland.
th sad truith that al of u cant ceem to grrasp is dat wrestlig is getig les poplar each day and no bodde caires abot it
vinse is senile at this poiint and th growth of tna has pleateuaed nd roh has nevr bin mor than his a crapy cult
I don't get the big deal about TNA themes being shitty. In the Asylum days... definitely... but now? Most of them are fine.
People go on about Dale's themes being crappy, but then they go on about how great Bobby Roode's theme is. Well, Dale created it, so... Confuse me some more, please. Granted, there's a lot more to it than that, but still. I don't find WWE's themes any more compelling, tbh. If it's not by a notable artist, then it's all generic to me, and that kind of hurts me to say as a fan of indie music. I hardly notice the themes, but I think it's because they don't blast them as loudly, and because a lot of them are instrumental or don't have a particular sound at the start to create that Pavlovian response.
But in any case, if people hate the themes, I suggest they make a concentrated effort and contact TNA en masse. Not joking or being sarcastic, either. If a ton of people tweeted Dixie about it at once then they would have to notice.
Pro-wrestling is almost dead. Or maybe it died already and didn't realize it.

TNA don't need anymore music, they have enough stocked up over the years that tna might as well save the time and money by recycling and laying off the sound crew
tna can almost never get the right music for the occasion without outsourcing to better musicians(Smashing Pumkins etc.)
and besides tna could almost never really get the perfect music to go with the situation to make it really special like WWE did for WM 17 with "My Way or the Highway" or ROH giving Bryan Danielson "Final Countdown" as a theme song and this
so why try? music is a powerful medium but not definitive in the realm of pro wrestling
so just make the entrances shorter and barely anyone will notice, just like the first several episodes of the weekly ppvs
