What made YOU a TNA fan?
I was just flicking threw the channels one day when I see Kurt Angle. Now I had no idea back then what TNA even was, and having that I hadn't watched any wrestling since the 'attitude era' I was kind of shocked to see Kurt wrestling in a ring that wasn't WWE.
So that grabbed my attention, and then I see this guy AJ Styles. I just remember thinking to myself 'this guys awesome' and I've been a fan since.
So for me AJ and Kurt were the reason I tuned in every week (oh, can't forget velvets ass being another reason I became a fan)
I was wondering what, or who, got you watching TNA?
Be interesting to see if anyone's answer is hogan.

Re: What made YOU a TNA fan?
The WWE had drove me out of watching wrestling. I saw Lockdown 2007 on Bravo in the UK. Became hooked ever since.
I loved the Lethal Lockdown as it reminded me of the good ol' War Games concept, AJ Styles was - yes, phenomenal - throughout, the Abyss character intrigued me, the X Division stars were a revelation (although now looking back on it the cage severely limited them) and I recognised some stars; Sting, Jarrett, Angle, Christian Cage etc. It was all really unique. The six-sided ring, the all-cage PPV gimmick & that day I got back into watching wrasslin' religiously.
I've watched back through the company's history and I consider myself a fully-fledged TNA follower, attending events on the Maximum Impact tour. I love the company and the product it's putting out at the moment is satisfying me too.

Re: What made YOU a TNA fan?
The uniqueness. They didn't have cookie cutter superstars like WWE, and instead had wrestlers with gimmicks.

The X-Divson guys - Low-Ki, Styles, Samoa Joe, Daniels I loved them four when I first stared watching it wasn't just the high flying spot fest those guys and a few other could go out there and have great wrestling matches.

Re: What made YOU a TNA fan?
Sting, Cage & Angle.
Whole new concept, 6-sided ring, good old X division, most of the time creative matches etc. It was fresh air. And throughout the years it was my fav against WWE. Tho last 2 years -apart from few points (uber talented guys like AA, Roode etc )- I lost my 'fanaticism'. But it looks like onroad concept (which I pray for it too long) will gonna bring some old feelings.

Re: What made YOU a TNA fan?
In 2005 I saw the six sided ring and though it looked different and unique, then I saw the x-division and fell in love with it

Re: What made YOU a TNA fan?
The Tony!
My dad came home with an "illegal" dish, back in the day, and while surfing through the free ppv channels I saw a preview for NWA-TNA weekly ppv shows. I tuned in and saw AJ Styles vs Jerry Lynn in a 3 series match for the X-Division title. It was high flying wrestling at a time when WWE was pretty much phasing out the top rope.
Beyond that, it was wrestling. I've been watching TNA since day one and I just decided to continue watching it.
