Its called 'business'. You look to grow at every single opportunity you have. Just because they will never be as big as WWE doesn't mean they are not allowed to aim for bigger things.

Umm... who said that again? Nobody I can see saying it. What you're saying is obvious.

Who gives a shit? This is just Hogan talking without saying anything. The grammar isn't even correct and they are not even full sentences. This is totally useless

One of the few guys that actually gets it. So TNA finally starts to make shit happen and now everybody wants them to stop. Fuck the IWC. And no, I don't consider myself apart of the IWC because they're all whiny morons.

What? It doesn't take much to 'get it'. Even HOGAN has called TNA the 'little engine that could'. That's an insinuation of growth.

Umm, yes. And with over 30 replies precisely two of them compared TNA to WWE.

saying they're in the same place as WCW is bad. they've tried "running with the big dogs" & it did nothing. TNA can build their own legacy without caring about the competition. i agree w/ you that they should inch closer. but they shouldn't put themselves up against WWE because that's destined for failure. just focus on themselves.

I think you're misinterpreting what Hogan is saying. WCW had to step up and spend a lot of money to compete with WWE. He isn't saying TNA is at that level, he's saying this is the push they need to go for to climb towards it. He is not saying they will blow up overnight either. This opportunity is "now or never." They obviously have the financial side worked out. Goin on the road is their next step and they're taking it. People are really misinterpreting the man's words.
They aren't going head to head with Raw. That was a test run and they failed. This is their next step, and I believe if they're successful and ratings improve then after a big signing or at the turn of a new year they could try another Monday night run. But this is just the beginning, and Hogan knows that. I mean, yeah Hogan doesn't always help himself with all the criticism, but who are you or I or anybody on a wrestling forum to call Hulk Hogan ill-advised or ignorant to the product? I'm not directing this towards you, but to the entire IWC. We are just fans and although we think we know all there is, we really don't know shit.
I guarantee that Hogan has a more level head on his shoulders than a lot of people online. But all in all, at least we can agree this is a crucial step for TNA.

It's funny how in 2013 people still go bananas for whatever hogan says.

cant disagree w/ your points barring the bolded. I honestly think it's really dumb to do that considering there's hardly a load of people watching wrestling as it is. also i really dont see what big signing they could get to help in that slot when hogan, flair, hardy, rvd, anderson and co didnt do much. let them make thursday nights their own. monday night run seems like suicide

Re: Hulk Hogan talks TNA's business strategy
Note, only if the ratings improved. If the demand was there, they would be foolish not to go into a prime time position on Monday nights. That would be the only way to dethrone the WWE. And that won't happen ANYTIME soon. I'm just saying that if they dominate Thursday and ratings warrant the move, they could try it again and see if the fanbase follows them.
I would love to see a ratings war again. I know it's not feasible or likely. But all in all, TNA would have to tackle Monday nights eventually or they'd never be able to damage the WWE. WWE doesn't even have programming on Thursday so this has absolutely no affect on them at the moment.

Re: Hulk Hogan talks TNA's business strategy
This thread is actually ridiculous.
TNA are doing what the so called 'IWC' have been calling for for years, and they are getting criticism for it. Hogan is saying what people on here have wanted TNA to say for years, and he is getting criticism for it.
Incredible. The idiocy of wrestling fans never ceases to amaze me.

It's just E fanboys trolling. Nothing more.
