King wasn't on a contract and he left after asking ROH if could he work 1 impact show. They said no and he showed up anyway.
One of the main reason why some communication between companies is important. ROH just straight up fired him on facebook after he showed up.

But it dont mean its to block TNA, it could be they dont want to get screwed out of arenas form other things, when they are dealing with the big arenas there is not much need, but the smllar ones are much more cahotic and "anyone" can get them and makes it hardar to book when you want
they may be sign deals nothing says its a move aginst tna

Re: WWE trying to block possible TNA taping venues
The kenny king/roh situation happened because ROH's management was incompetent. Plain and simple, no way around this fact. If a current TNA champion appeared on WWE or vice-versa you wouldn't be that forgiving.

Re: WWE trying to block possible TNA taping venues
According to Figure Four Weekly Online, WWE has contacted a number of arenas to secure dates and will likely be using some of their non-compete clauses to prevent TNA from running those arenas with the new Impact Wrestling tapings schedule. WWE has booked a number of mid-size arenas including the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia, the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, and the First Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado. WWE will be running those buildings in their markets instead of the major arenas they usually run in.

Unfortunate, looks like Vince really wants to stop TNA's progress.

Vince: So we canīt sell out the big expansive arenas anymore. I need an excuse to book smaller places.
Intern: We could say it is to block TNA.
Vince: Thatīs just stupid. I have an idea how about we say that we want to block TNA from certain venues.
Intern: but thatīs what I just...
Vince: Get me a coffee. I feel very creative tonight. I Senseai a new Tensai segment. How about a T&A reunion?
Intern: Uh...
Vince: Sounds too much like TNA you are right.

WWE is decent with their product today, but if they really want to do something with TNA, they need to further improve their product first. They would rather hinder TNA's growth than improve their own? That sounds pretty pathetic to me. Granted, that's if this turns out to be true.

This. Granted, if it is true, it's a smart, tactical business decision. But that in bold is what I would take issue with.

In a perfect world, this would be the norm.

Yes. And that, too, is smart business. What matters is that you train your consumers to accept your product no matter if it changes negatively. Vince has trained his audience very well. And a sense of loyalty keeps a lot of people rooted, not unlike how some people love their favorite football teams whether they win or lose. And that's why some of the same people who complain about WWE day in and day out still say "TNA sucks" without even bothering to watch it first, or only watching one segment that even TNA fans don't like (in order to, I might add, critique it negatively) so they can be like, "I'm glad I don't watch this crap." So, yeah.
