So if you were to have some other star in WWE from India who is actually featured on WWE tv alot, then they'd become that big star over there. Just like if WWE were to have a diff design for the WWE title, it'd sell just as much too, because of what it represents.
Great Khali was in the Longest Yard. He's a movie star as well as a wrestler in India.
Lets say the casual fan who watches TNA on the regular is watching the show. They obviously know where TNA has been over the past 8 years. Now lets say a casual fan is tuning in for the first time. Not only do you or the former writer know how they will react, but why does it matter how they react? If they care they will wait for the show to come to them and if they don't care they are not going to tune out just because TNA made a 30 second announcement about moving their show on the road.
It makes me laugh when people make an argument and then use casual as evidence to back it up. Well I didn't realize there was a door to door survey conducted after the announcement.
As far as what WWE would have done is ridiculous. How about we take a look at this.
This is the most idiotic rip on TNA I've seen in a while. They've had their shows at the impact zone for 10 years now and this isn't a big fucking announcement? They're finally noticing they've become big enough to take the show on the road, which a lot of the fans have wanted and an announcement that was less than a minute long on TV is being shit on by this guy? Give me a fucking break. What did he want, for them to keep quiet about it and possibly draw a bit less of an audience? I bet this guy praised wwe announcing it was going HD...
Everyone's a cynic, no-one will enjoy wrestling, they're too busy
pointing out what "sucks".
Dream match: Jeff Hardy v.s Christian - Please happen again someday in the near future
Someone make a case for how this is a BIG~! announcement, please.
Holding events in other cities, meaning people paying for these shows. And gives TNA more exposure for taking place in other cities.
Do you really think a company like WWE would be as big as it is today if all they did was hold Raw in that manhattan center for every single episode, and just held WMs in 20,000 seat places? Look at how much bigger Raw/SD are now with WWE traveling all over to hold these shows, and look at how much bigger WM has seemed with WWE expanding to bigger places.
TNA isn't on that level yet, but moving out of Impact Zone and traveling all over would be great for them.
Look at it in sports terms. Do you think people in Russia care more about the AHL(the NHLs minor league system) or the KHL(Russias hockey league). Obviously Russias league, cause the teams are from there, so people can actually watch those games in person. TNA would be similar too. By having events in other cities, it allows for fans from those cities to attend TNA events are care about it more since they know that TNA isn't just a show that takes place in a TV studio in Orlando anymore, it's now a show that takes place all over, including their hometowns.
