So they shouldn't announce that they are going on the road on TV?

Sounds like a pretty bold strategy to try. I'd rather make the notice known so the biggest possible audience can see it and get the info.

How is announcing a tour embarrassing? If ROH gets a prime time deal on FX they should just be quiet about it because that's normal to WWE and TNA?

I don't get what's wrong with that. Maybe there's a reason why this guy is a FORMER WWE writer.

Using his logic, then a company will NEVER grow. How can you expect any company to ever grow, if they don't announce changes.

If your customers don't like one aspect of your company, and then the company makes improvements to that aspect, shouldn't they be advertising that change? That's exactly what TNA is doing here.

It is a big deal, it will change the product and it's important to treat that as something really important. If you just put that on your website like yeah we will do that but whatever what is the point ?

Should be noted that Court Bauer hates TNA because he says they stole his ideas in 2003/04. He announced H2 Wrestling(who he ran) was going to have a six-sided-ring and while he was getting the financing together TNA took the idea and used it themselves. He's still pissed off with that one.

Also people can knock Khali all they want, but the dude draws money for WWE. He got WWE into the Indian market which generates them a shit load of cash. Its the only reason he's still around even though he's basically a cripple.

First of all, who is a former WWE writer and the guy responsible for Khali to say how any company does business. Second, so what if WWE did do it in 1993? By that logic, they should have done most of the stuff they've been doing in the last 20 years. Most fans wanted them to go on the road,so to those fans, this is a big deal.

Having television shows on the road shouldn't be a big deal.

Unless court bauer also invented lucha libre I don't know how he can take credit for the six sided ring, when jarrett (the responsible for TNA during that time) has been a assumed AAA mark since kid.

When the WWF moved out of the Manhattan Center for Raw in 94 they just promoted dates and the arenas gradually looked bigger because ticket sales are generated through local promotion, not major announcements halfway through Impact.

He is absolutely correct when it comes to TNA's definition of a "major announcement". If Vince McMahon said "Monday night i will have a major announcement" you are thinking "Austin's back!" or "Undertaker will come out and tombstone him". If you are fan who doesn't follow TNA tuning in for the first time or even a fan who doesn't go on the internet the announcement of TNA moving out of a studio would be like "errr ... so?" Moving out of Universal is a longterm business decision. It doesn't affect our viewing habits.
This is why his and your logic is a GIANT fail.

Lets say the casual fan who watches TNA on the regular is watching the show. They obviously know where TNA has been over the past 8 years. Now lets say a casual fan is tuning in for the first time. Not only do you or the former writer know how they will react, but why does it matter how they react? If they care they will wait for the show to come to them and if they don't care they are not going to tune out just because TNA made a 30 second announcement about moving their show on the road.

It makes me laugh when people make an argument and then use casual as evidence to back it up. Well I didn't realize there was a door to door survey conducted after the announcement.

As far as what WWE would have done is ridiculous. How about we take a look at this.

But I see Khali in similar situation as WWE title.

It's not so much him that's drawing the money, it's what he stands for. Same as WWE title. WWE title design isn't making money, it's what that design stands for.

So if you were to have some other star in WWE from India who is actually featured on WWE tv alot, then they'd become that big star over there. Just like if WWE were to have a diff design for the WWE title, it'd sell just as much too, because of what it represents.
