What a great way of putting it; I never thought of that comparison before. Dead on. I thought Lita was crap on the mic and as a heel, but the fact that she could do hurricanranas, tornado DDTs, and moonsaults had a lot of mileage with people, including myself. And the Hardy Boyz & Lita stable just took off. Trish, I think, got a lot of credit for going from not being a wrestler at all to being fairly good. And both were attractive. She was also a really good heel with "buns of steel". King's commentary whenever Trish would wrestle kept me laughing.
I agree what people say about Jazz, and about her being a beast (which I love). As for Tara, top five in the past
20 years? I don't know, even if we're just talking WWF/E/TNA. Tara is
that chick and I can only hope to be in as good of shape as she is when I'm her age. Hmm...

Sooo difficult to pick the top five, especially if we're talking about all women's wrestlers. But what I love about her is that she's still great at her age, disproving Vince's idea that women her age can't be.
My top six (though not in the past 20 years) would be Sara del Rey (love her strongwoman style; would have liked to have seen her in TNA), MsChif (that she's a scientist as well as a wrestler is too cool), Awesome Kong (everything, even her look), Gail Kim (I never feel I'm seeing the same match with her, and I like small women wrestlers), Daizee Haze (same as Gail), and Alissa Flash (same as Sara del Rey, and I loved her look). That's not even taking into account wrestlers outside of North America.
Mrs. Varon would be in my top 20, though.
