Either go back with NWA and call it NWA or NWA:TNA OR come up with something better than Impact Wrestling. That is if they are changing names which I honestly don't believe they're doing.
They are STILL TNA. They just promote their product as Impact Wrestling because that is the name of their flagship show.
Weather people like TNA or Impact wrestling better. It comes down to marketing. Thats all that mattters.
Its a lot easier to market the name Impact wrestling over TNA.
TNA name is turning into the production name. As it already says TNA production as of 2013 at the end of the shows credits now.Since Dixie plans on starting other projects outside of wrestling. This is an ideal Production name for each brand.
Zeffa are the owners of UFC. Zeffa is the production of UFC.
And they have been pushing more and more of everything thats in the company marketed toward Impact wrestling.About 90 percent of everything is marketed as IW. Clothes name of house shows you name it. I wouldn't be surprised if either after Lockdown that Slammiverary is marketed under IW or at the lastest after BFG.
Total Non-Stop Action doesn't have much of a defining definition toward wrestling.
Impact is a good word for wrestling. Impact definition - the striking of one thing against another; forceful contact
the force exerted by a new idea, concept, technology, or ideology: the impact of the industrial revolution.
So force against another human or making a impact. Which both meanings define what wrestling is.
And of course Wrestling means wrestling.
The name acutely has pretty signification meaning towards the industry.
