I was just about to say something to this effect, that if they haven't carefully planned and plotted it out before going through the trouble of announcing it to everyone would they really have told us? And if they did go back to the Impact Zone after this but otherwise didn't suck, would it really matter that they had? Not to put the person on blast (and I can only hope they were joking), but it really does reflect how some of those fans are thinking. That's why I say that TNA needs to focus on creating new fans, because those new fans won't have that preprogramming, and they will familiarize themselves to TNA's style of wrestling/content, so that if they ever check another promotion they can see how different (and hopefully in their eyes, better) it is. The same is true in the reverse for WWE. Many fans are stuck on how things are done there and they can't deprogram themselves to enjoy anything else because somehow the compulsion to stick with one thing is too strong. People go on about how they (both TNA and WWE) need to create stars or new stars (or in some people's minds, "real" stars) but the star power (imo, the newer guys) is already there. As the 'E has shown us, anyone can be made into a "star" if marketed well. And this is something they need to feverishly work at on the road. They simply can't do things in the same way anymore and I would think that they know that.
