TNA should not still be struggling to get 3000 for their biggest PPV's of year, sorry. Its not good.

There wasn't a any "massive build up", Slammiversary ten years anniversary was showcased as a bigger show and the results were clear (5,500). Still, I don't see the problem with 3000ish, it was a good crowd all night. The problem is that you instantly compare these numbers to WWE and lose focus.
BFG 2008 - 5,000
BFG 2009 - 2,400
BFG 2010 - 3,500
BFG 2011 - 3,585
BFG 2012 - 3,000
3000ish isn't a problem, dropping from 5000 to 2400 is.

What are you talking ahout ? I dont even watch wwe and im not comparing. Im comparing the numbers They get to the arenas size they pick. If you get a max average of 5. Why go into a arena that has double that and end up with a half empty place. They can go into arenas even smaller that have like 5 max. Baby steps right ? No reason to jump arena sizes that are bigger then your fan base. ECW did it right with the arean sizses they picked. Those always filled up and didnt try and go into 1000 size places

Yes, it is a problem. Its their biggest PPV and they dont come close to selling out a small sized arena, and I havent once compared their numbers to WWE.
Didn't have massive build up!? What on earth are you talking about? The BFG tournament started about 2 months before the show and was the main focus from then on in!
TNA is the 2nd largest wrestling company on at a primetime with some very big names, they should be getting much bigger crowds than they have been. They should not have entire stands nearly empty at their biggest event of the year.

I can play that game too....it's a fun one!
WWE is the largest wrestling company with a some very big names and yet they only managed 8000 fans for OTL in NC this year, 9000 for MiTB in Phoenix and 8500 Survivor Series in Indy. They should have bigger crowds than they've been pulling and not have half empty arenas.
For what TNA is, and for as popular as wrestling is in this day and age, TNA PPV's have done bad. Not good, but not the catastrophe you seem to try and make it out to be.

Re: TNA is going on the road starting in March!
Im not arguing with anyone. All im saying is. Its better for business to sell out an arena that is 5000 ish capacity. That would be cheaper rent. Instead of trying to sell out Sears Centre that is Capacity: 11,218.With only selling half that.
Which is apparently the first US Impact Wrestling road show planned if true.

They can go as big as the full venue for 11k (which they won't be doing) or they can go with Theater seating and go to where the capacity is as small as 2200...from there based on ticket sales they can open more up and go bigger if needed.

I doubt any of the casual fans in the arena even knew what the BFG series concept was, that isn't build. Storm vs Roode had build, the rest of the card didn't and 3000 isn't nearly empty, we are talking wrestling in 2013 not in the 90's... keep that in mind. If you look at the history like the data I gave, BFG attendance numbers are around 3000, it's math.

they did a good number their for BFG 2008.
Taking the stage into account i reckon they'll fill most of it up.

There you go thank you. Our problem is solved. Didnt know it was one of those size changing arenas. Then that would acutely be a perfect size to go half of the arena.
Then we are talking.
I think that is the similar plan with the Lockdown Arena. It can be custom as small as it has to be. Based off ticket sales.
