Eh, simplified version tickles my fancy morseo.

What I mean is just make it that you have to score a pinfall or submission to be eligible to win the match by climbing the ladder to retrieve the title. Essentially what you are saying but removing the penalty box from the match.

As far as participants if they did it this year I'd go with Bully vs Joe vs Aries vs Roode vs Storm

If TNA were to ever bring it back, it should have been at this past Slammiversary seeing as it was the 10 year anniversary show. I don't care for it anyhow unless it's simplified, then it might be cool to see again.

I'd love it.

Like Joe said, reduce it to 4 participants, remove that stupid penalty booth and just make it the tradition 'pull the belt down'. They are usually a trainwreck of a match, thoroughly entertaining though, so I'd enjoy it. There's just something I love about plenty of spots, bloody weapons and mindless fun.

One off events like that are always entertaining.
