Re: As a TNA hurts me to say this

The problem isn't big names since other than Cena who is the really active "big name" out there? Those losers like Sheamus, Miz, etc. don't count. They already had/have Angle, Hardy, Sting, Hogan, DDP, Savage, Flair, Lashley, Hall, Nash, Steiner, Booker T, etc. and ratings/buyrates didn't soar. Their roster still has loads of talent and there's no reason why viewership shouldn't be higher than it is. But there is.

TNA is on a national tv station every week and is on PPV with quality stars and is obviously the better product of the two mainstream companies yet they are always viewed as a minor-league borderline indy fed. Even during WCW's last days they didn't have this issue. If anyone thinks that lack of marketing/branding and the fact their tv headquarters is in front of tourists don't have something to do with it then I dunno what to tell ya.

Re: As a TNA hurts me to say this

Cena and maybe Orton are the only ones that would make a dent. Be a lot easier to sign someone like Batista to big money or go with huge money and get an icon like Goldberg, but Goldberg seems more like a dream than something realistic.

Goldberg, Batista, Cena, or Orton. Any of those guys would be good for TNA, Gokdberg & Cena a little bit better than the other two.

If TNA can't tour they need another venue in Orlando that doesn't make them come off looking indy.

Goldberg is past it, why do people want him back

What if WCW won the Monday Night Wars?

Here's what I think would have happened: http://inthesquaredcircle.blogspot.c...ight-wars.html

I just can't see it happening wouthout them making a big splash or a couple of large splashes. I just wish they would really really really try to push this thing to the next level and go after a Punk/Cena...or Miz/Orton/Sheamus/Ziggler/Bryan...some TNA fans might not want this but TNA hasn't made a big splash since Angle...some might count Hardy simply because of his fans but i don't. I would just like to see what would happen if they pulled something like this off. I love AJ/Joe/Roode/Aries...but the painful truth is those guys will never pull like WWE guys do. I'm tired of the bobby lashleys and seeing them horribly mismanage guys with potential like the elijah burke...i dont give a crap about king mo and rampage theres rumors of goldberg being the leader of aces and eights...give me the miz and dolph ziggler or orton and sheamus...quit shoving hogan and sting down our throats...let them retire and go hang out at their country clubs...we need some new blood...tna is going to be stuck here for decades(if they last that long) if they dont try to really go for it at some point...just some thoughts...please everybody pitch in and let me know what you think...
Right, fuck that jobber Hulk Hogan, ZIGGLER AND MIZ = RATINGZ GODZ!!!!!!!!!!!

The sad part is you might actually have a valid point to make if you took some time to think about what you're saying before you just blurt crap out like this.

Re: As a TNA hurts me to say this

Hardy is probably more marketable then the entire WWE roster, except, Punk, Rock, Cena, and Rey.

Re: As a TNA hurts me to say this

Well TNA has Hogan, Sting, Angle, Hardy, used to have Bischoff on TV and used to have Flair. You can't get any bigger than Hogan, even though he has aged.

I really don't think that grabbing more guys who may would leave WWE would be the solution because you can't draw anything if only so many people know that TNA even exists or don't even remember that they exist now that Spike lost what was probably their number 1 ratings show.

In my opinion, they need to get out of the Impact Zone. Get out of the amusement park. Get on the road more. As TasteOfVenom has said, if they can't go on the road, then at least try to upgrade to another building that doesn't scream indy with tourists.

Re: As a TNA hurts me to say this

I agree as well with the fact that TNA needs something BIG in terms of people coming into the brand and giving notoriety. Hogan brought TNA to a new level, same as Hardy but until they can snag a Stone Cold or another game changer the company simply won't be at the promise land.

Thing is there is no one active that can take them to the promise land except Rock.

Re: As a TNA hurts me to say this

Kurt Angle left for TNA while on the A list and WWE just brushed him off, told people he left for personal reasons and never spoke of him again. Nothing short of CM Punk taking of his jacket and revealing a TNA shirt in the middle of RAW would work in terms of getting WWEs big names over there. They need to do things even non wresting fans want to know about to save them, not bring in someone famous.
