They will NEVER be able to compete with WWE without a major financial backer, they need to compete with the indies and win over the die hards, the people still willing to pay for wrestling.

They can hire the entire WWE roster and still get 1.2's. Be a wrestling fan, not a ratings fan.

The reason why we don't get fresh ideas and promotions rising in American Pro Wrestling is because the majority of the community is happy with the same old shit and will reject any chance of change. There is a risk in doing new things, 9 times out of 10, it leads to 50+ pages of bitching and moaning. While business gets turned into a dictatorship and more and more out of touch. Support the indies, support New Pro Wrestling.

Oh God this thread again.

Can we not just ban people straight away who make variations of this thread?

Miz-Said in a recent interview he's never thought about going to TNA

Orton-Has a 15-20 year contract with the E?

Cena- Buying out his contract & paying him more what the E offered would bankrupt TNA

Punk-The chance to have him was in 04 when he was still floating between TNA & ROH do you think he'd want to come back after that?

Sheamus-Isn't he close with uncle trips? why risk that just to start all over again

Danielson & Ziggler would be the only realistic targets IMO they don't seem like 'company guys' yet

In the past TNA has signed Hardy when he was on top, Angle when he was on top, Booker T, Steiner, Nash, RVD, and Hulk fucking Hogan and none of them have been able to help improve the ratings drastically and long term. Cena would probably help, but TNA still wouldn't break into the 2s.

Re: As a TNA fan...it hurts me to say this

That's different.

This is John Freakin Cena, top guy in the industry for the past 7/8 years. Him as top guy jumping to a rival company would cause massive ripples across the industry.

Whether TNA would capitalise on it however is a different story.
